If Parade comes across (not gonna lie) I’m gonna go all fanboi- all dignity will go out the window!

I have followed Matthew Broderick for some time- I'm an 80's child and Ferris Beuller is sill my hero- and although I could be wrong, I believe there are three children.

I'm assuming the Broderick's will be staying at The Savoy- it makes sense- and they'll be bringing across the kids, the nanny and the whole enterage.

Whilst the show may have divided board members on this forum, it's good to see the praise for Amy Trigg- that was the girl in the wheelchair.

They similarly filmed The Band's Visit at The Donmar for the V&A archives.

Conversely I saw the show over a week ago and haven't been able to get the songs out of my head. Hoping they'll release the rest of the cast recording in time for opening night tomorrow! I was at the same performance as jamb0r and similarly, cannot get The Little Big Things song out of my head!

I know Guy Pierce can sing- though I don't know if he released any singles or if he did, had any chart success.
I once saw him back home in a production of Grease as Danny Zuko.

Delta did her first ever UK tour recently and Natalie has had long gapsa between her albums. Jason is still singing but has maimnly been a theatre/nostalgia act since he cleaned himself up after his crazy period. Kylie clearly has a hardcore fanbase plus has picked up younger dance fans and has the LGB fans who straddle both of these. She has had ups and downs commercially in her career but has always had her back catalogue and loyal fans to see her through the quieter periods. Delta isn't big globally but she's very successful in Australia, moreso than Kylie. I agree. Whilst acknowledging her talent. Delta just has around been long enough. And of the neighbours crew, anyone remember Craig McLachlan? Whatever happened to him?- Don't answer. The question's rhetorical. I know what happened to him.

She has survived all the other singers who came out of Neighbours.
The only one still around, still performing and recording new music is Natalie Imbrublia.

If it were to happen, I wonder if the stage production was filmed, or even a movie made, if the intensity of the show would carry over?

As the actor died, and it's set in a different city, obviously the character of Marty can't be in it. But with Marty came Eddie, the dog, who- in has own way- was a character.
I wonder if they have incorporated a similar character? And if the writing is up to the same standard?

Ashton Merygold taking over as the Tin Man for the tour- to be fair, from the promo pics he looks more like something from Starlight Express!

I'd love to see how they do this with stage trickery.
Lets see the Goldie Hawn character shot with the huge hole in her stomach with water pouring through it.
Let's see Meryl Streep's neck twisting so she can see her own bottom.
And the skin cracking and flaking in huge chunks.
And the final scene where there are dismembered body parts on the ground yes to all!

Just an observation, most of the celebrities tend to be matched with a pro-dancer of a similar height.
The exception was Ellie last year, but she is a dwarf so even Nikita has to bend down, or arch over so there's be some height equality.
As for the same sex partnership, I think it's written in their contract that they, as the professionals, could get matched up with anyone and whomever they get, see how far they can go.
Speaking of which, for who ever wins, is there some sort of additional financial incentive?

Gotta love a bit of Jane.
I just caught up on the third episode in Japan where via bullet train she ended up in Kyoto- Japan's cultural hub where she went through a bamboo forest, experienced a tea ceremony, tried on a (very expensive) kimono and met with some Geisha's.
She also went to a family run book binding service, visited a temple and meditated.

I went on Friday night and it was a blast aside from some bad behavior in the crowd. It was astonishing how much better Kyle was after settling into the role a little. This show has definitely jumped into my Top 10 shows of all-time and I am so sad this is probably it for it for a very long time, if in fact we ever see it again. I hope all the cast go onto bigger and better things as each and every one of them is amazing! I bought the text yesterday from the National so will be delving into that every time I need a chuckle. Thank God it was filmed at the Barbican with original Kyle, so at least we have that to look forward to! I was not aware that it had been filmed but I hope it is true. Most shows are professionally filmed these days. In fact that ones that aren't are in the minority. It's just a matter of whether they're released commercially or not.

Saw this and night and... wow! I kinda went in blind. Yest I have the CD but the songs come on as individuals on a random shuffle playlist so, I have never heard the whole score through so didn't really now the story, other than the basics and that Cassie Levy had flown in from America to perform in this. A very workable, simple yet effective set. Strong performances all round in terms of acting and vocals. It was interesting to wee that as the wife slowly started to heal, then the husband started to decline. Also the parallels between what both the mother and daughter going through. And the reveal half way through the first act- no spoilers- I couldn't see if I tried. This may seem a silly thing to say but what struck me the most was the standard of this production- as referred to above, the acting, the vocals, the set, the costumes and the orchestra. With The Little Big Things and now this, who could have predicted when I woke on Monday morning what an emotionally draining week this would be theatrewise? Quite frankly, I don't know how much more I can take! London musical theatre- you're killing me! Haha - I love this! I also saw TBLT and NTN back to back last week and was rendered emotionally exhausted. Glad I'm not the only one!

You know, despite the fact that I was at Next To Normal last night, to get to Tottenham Court Road I have to walk right past The Little Big Things. The show had ended and there were audience members waiting at the stage door. I saw Linzi Hatelely talking to a small group of people.

I'm always surprised when people don't see the reveal coming - I guess having known the show for so long it doesn't come as a shock to me, but I still think it's staged pretty clearly from the beginning what's happening (but I'm always pleasantly surprised when there is an OH moment for the audience) As I day, I went in blind. Who knows, maybe I'm just blind to these things?
