Damn Chicago are so lucky 🤣 They need to give it a good score but I'd throw money at this. Megan Hilty! 😍

I'd love to see how they do this with stage trickery.
Lets see the Goldie Hawn character shot with the huge hole in her stomach with water pouring through it.
Let's see Meryl Streep's neck twisting so she can see her own bottom.
And the skin cracking and flaking in huge chunks.
And the final scene where there are dismembered body parts on the ground yes to all!

Was lucky enough to see this during it's out of town try out. It is WONDERFUL. Being a huge fan of the film and have been watching this languish in development hell for years with many writers giving it a go (Stile and Drew were doing it late 2017). This show has two incredible leads who really hold it together. Michelle Williams looks a bit lost but they use her character really well. There are at least 7 showstoppers and the special effects although slightly disappointing compared to the film, but they do a great job with what they can achieve on stage. Can't wait for this to get plussed up on Broadway - I'd doubt it will ever hit the west end but if you happen to be in NYC in October I'd definitely recommend getting a ticket!

This is appearing on TodayTix in the section at the bottom with a bunch of other greyed out shows you can't buy tickets for through them. I can't find anything about it coming over from a bit of Googling, so what do we take from it being there?

Some Like It Hot and Shucked are down there too, neither officially announced AFAIK. And that Hunger Games play with next to no info about it. I guess they'd rather load these shows onto the site and give people the chance to 'watchlist' them, for if/when they eventually get off the ground.

I believe it might be a duplicate from it being listed on the US site; happened with Gatsby I believe before it was taken down swiftly.
TodayTix can sometimes be quite messy with their actual show pages, for example the entire Titanique at the Park Theatre debacle. Looking down there there's two Becoming Nancy's so always with a grain of salt

This is going to be a critical and commercial smash. After the disappointment of Tammy Faye last night - this is how you do a big musical on Broadway. Hilty and Simard are perfect. It’s camp, it’s fun, it’s got brilliant production numbers. The second number in the show especially has the audience GAGGED! I can’t wait to see it again.

I really enjoyed it. It’s very funny, especially Jennifer Simard as Helen, and it’s a huge spectacle. The special effects are incredible. The songs though - totally forgettable, I can’t remember a single song.

Back To The Future mark 2? Is Zemeckis going to let people plunder his whole filmography for musical inspiration?
