Well this is an instant buy for me, more for Broderick than SJP.

‘Sign up now to book before anyone else’ does imply there’ll be no ATG TC members presale for this one either though! 😫

She was great. He was… Matthew Broderick. It’s a fun show. Not sure I’ll see it again though unless there’s a lottery of sorts.

Oh my god! My bank account will never recover from all the theatre bookings this year. This has to stop.

Well this is an instant buy for me, more for Broderick than SJP. Do not get me wrong he is brilliant in it but this is SJP’s show especially the 3rd act. Saw on Broadway at the Hudson & was worth every penny! Absolutely delighted it’s coming over!

Agree with this completely. A solid B+ production with a few moments that reach beyond that grade.

Wowsers. So glad I got my ATG membership today. My bank account is being hammered for tickets this year and next. I’ve barely got a weekend free up until Nov and those that aren’t Theatre are holidays. I’m even booked up until Aug……..2024!

If it helps, the What's On Stage article announcing this said it's not going on sale until September, so your bank account won't be groaning just yet!

Nice to see a couple of Broadway shows come here for a change. It sometimes feels like one way traffic!

This will be the first Neil Simon play in the West End in 12 years, the last one was The Sunshine Boys which also at the Savoy. I wonder why we've not seen more revivals of Neil Simon's work like The Odd Couple which with a starry cast would probably sell very well.

Well this is an instant buy for me, more for Broderick than SJP. Me to. Love me a bit of Matthew Broderick (Ferris Bueller is my hero). Despite her experience, personally, I find SJP a little one-dimensional.

Saw this in the pre-Broadway try-out in Boston (what ended up in NY was pretty much the same). Despite my loving both Matthew and SJP, this play is extremely dated, and, for me, it never took off. Not funny no poignant not anything. I thought I was at a high school production (despite the beauty of the stage production) I was particularly annoyed by her performance, not his - but I don't know what two actors could actually make this piece work in 2023. It is just leaden. Many loved it on this side of the pond in the limited run, for sure, but I think many were also very disappointed. With the right play the two of them could really make for a great evening in the theatre - but this was absolutely not that play.

This will be a sell out purely on the strength of SJP.

Very excited for this production, I feel like a transfer was teased quite a while ago but its nice to see it happen!
I also like that they aren't selling tickets until September, it always feels weird buying tickets near a year in advance.

Noel Coward complained that Neil Simon had lifted the idea for Plaza Suite from his own plays Suite in Three Keys which the Orange Tree happen to be doing next year.
