I've been thinking about this a while and honestly can't remember my first time, how depressing haha. I do remember my first west end and first broadway though. Broadway was Chicago starring Marti Pellow who unfortunately is the person I've seen most in any show as he gets about a bit... my first west end was The Phantom and only remember so vividly as for some reason there was a massive mix up with the tickets and I was front row and my ex was in the dress circle!!

Just a bump to remind everyone tickets are on sale. I missed getting tickets on release day so had to book for my seats after press night as had same ones a lot of years running!! £20 before press night and £28 after. Would definitely recommend crucible Christmas to anyone as honestly haven't seen a bad one yet.

I was beginning to think maybe I walked round with my eyes closed or are just not lucky enough to spot a cleb when last night at listened to JCS and I remembered on the arena tour I saw ALW mooching around a few feet away. Got very fan girl giddy and have the blurriest photo thanks to my old crankberry. Technically he wasn't in the audience but it's the nearer I've got so I'm having it!!!

The only one I always skip is something bad from Wicked, it just gets under my skin.

I really hope it would tour as it's not a show I'd travel specially to London for but would definately book tickets if it came local.

I was only wondering this afternoon what the crucible Christmas would be. Sounds like it should be a good one. Thanks for the info

Wahoo let's hope it comes somewhere near me. My other half got me the soundtrack last year and didn't listen to it for an age. Took a few listens through to get into it, but then I was hooked and would love to see live.

I think the usual suspects in Les Mis, Wicked and Miss Saigon have got me but Feed the Birds in Mary Poppins the other week made a few tears leak out!

I'd love Hamilton to come as must admit I've become a little bit obsessed with this one, also something rotten as before Hamilton arrived that was on an endless loop!

I'm most interested in Strife, I think, and am otherwise ambivalent towards or distinctly disinterested in the others. I'll have to have a think about it. Looking forward to Daniel Evans taking over properly! I'm gutted Sheffield is losing Daniel Evans, his Crucible Christmas productions always got me all that more excited for Christmas!! He's leaving very big shoes to fill.

I saw this last Friday as well and loved it, some bits did seem a little bit slow but the dance numbers and costumes more than kept my spirits up. I loved Matt Lee as Bert and thought he was fantastic in the role, it made me want to learn to tap especially on the roof!! I couldn't keep my eyes off Zizi when she was on stage her mannerisms and facial expressions just drew your eye towards her. Glad I've finally managed to see it as had been waiting for the show to come back to the UK for an age after missing out last time. I have got myself the Mary Poppins umbrella and now searching ebay for a shirt so I can be Mary Poppins at Halloween haha!

Hello, I'm so glad I finally found where you guys were hiding. I was a lurker on the very old WOS forum and missed it closing. I eventually found the old site after it had closed down! I missed all the gossip and reviews and eventually with my trusty friend google and broadway world have found you all. I'm a 30 year old musical fanatic and living near Sheffield. I've ended up joining so I don't miss out on maybe another move..... I look forward to catching up on all the musical gossip and would like to say a big Thank You to all the people who have set this forum up.
