I went last night to see this as well and thought it was wonderful. All the performers were fantastic and it made me leave wanting to tap and ballet dance my way to the car. I recall watching the film a number of years back but couldn't remember much about it other than I wasn't actually that keen on it so was blown away by how much I enjoyed it yesterday. They are having further showing at a few cinemas this Sunday for anyone that couldn't make it, I think I might see if it's near me again to rewatch it. I do hope they release in DVD at somepoint.

I can get in most sites at work but they 'closely monitor' internet use so only go on at lunch time. I've ended up bumping my data and using my phone though for things that just can't wait till lunch. Oddly my IT department have put a total block on Debenhams site, not sure why!!

A bit of bad behaviour yesterday at Hamilton. Waiting about 15 months to see it and behind 2 young girls who want to join in and muck about. I luckily couldn't really hear them just got distracted by their movements every now and again. The woman in front turned to tell them off which ended up with little arji bhaji stand off. At interval a manager popped down to remind everyone how to behave!! I don't know why it's so complicated to understand we didn't pay to see you and we all want to enjoy the show!! I also sat next to a wriggle bum who couldn't sit still for 5 mins so that did annoy me. Luckily the show was so good or I'd be mad as hell!!

I quite enjoyed it. Don't know the book at all, so I have no idea if they change things or whether it's better or worse. As a standalone drama I found it entertaining. I don't really understand why Bill Nighy suddenly popped out and killed her though to be honest. She was vile to everyone, yes, but what prompted him to bash her in just then? I think it might have been as she said she would divorce him and he would be penniless. But might have imagine that I was doing other things whilst watching it haha. I did really enjoy it, having never read the books I didn't know who would have done it. I can't say I noticed a lot of swearing although maybe coming from my workplace I'm desensitised to it now!!

Are these dates in April the last for the UK tour? I believe the tour finishes in Sheffield on 28 April. Well worth checking out if you haven't been yet! Is that the very last show? I'm off to it that evening for my birthday treat! Let's hope were in for an extra special show then.

A glorious spring day in Derbyshire, even got 3 loads of washing done and kitten spent the day exploring the garden. We've had to stay in all day waiting for engineers and national grid etc. They've decided to turn all our gas off and then tomo going to dig up the road to exchange our pipes. We aren't going to be popular on the street tomorrow esp as our house is miles away from the actual main road with the gas connectors and they'll be digging all along the ginnel. Another day off for boiler issues, who knew trying to stay warm could be so complicated. We should have stuck with old boiler it was held together with a piece of old wood but least it worked haha.

I'm so mad today. My boiler packed in during that first beast from the east weather debacle so find a boiler man he temporarily stop gaps it and fits a new one today. My savings depleted but least we can be toasty warm. 3 hours after they leave error messages on new boiler and we are again without heating and water. I think I could cry, boiler man says it's now under warranty so they don't like them to mess with them and will have to wait till tomorrow till they can call in for a service repair. Fingers crossed it gets fixed before my husband goes mad and blames this all on me!!

Thanks for the well wishes. We made it, few hair raising moments on the journey but all safe and sound enjoying Rome. Hope everyone safe and sound back home pics I've seen round near me look terrible but it's so heart warming heading stories of people going out there way to help strangers and our wonderful NHS workers sleeping over at hospitals etc.

Fingers crossed we get there it's my husband's 40th birthday celebrations and have pre booked so much I'd hate to lose out. Hope everyone safe today.

I absolutely loved reading The Caravan Family by Enid Blyton and ever since had wanted to live or holiday in a gypsy style caravan, although now I'm older have decided holiday would be better as no way could all my junk fit in a caravan! I also loved the My Naughty Little Sister books, we even had them on record read by Felicity Kendal. I've scoured the internet looking for recordings of that but can't find anywhere.

Well done Kathryn that's a fantastic achievement.
I have prob put the weight of a small elephant on today as spent most of it eating chocolate biscuits trying not to pull my hair out at my naughty kitten.
Any advice of how to stop him using my leg as a climbing tree and biting me. He has lots of toys, interactive toys, scratch post, tree house but he still just likes to attack me!

What can I say, I loved it. I came out the cinema singing and dancing. I didn't expect to like this after Jackmans (in my opinion!) butchering of Les Mis so maybe I was overjoyed as I had such low expectations, but all is now forgiven! The songs were catchy the cinematography fabulous and I even found myself crushing on Zac Efron. OK I wouldn't say it was a perfect film as sometimes things in the story seemed slightly rushed but it was thoroughly enjoyable - just heading off to buy the soundtrack.

I've seen the Play that Goes Wrong live and enjoyed it, I absolutely loved last year's Peter Pan Goes Wrong but for some reason couldn't get into this one. It had me laughing a couple of times but just don't feel it worked as well and was not as funny as the other goes wrong. Was really looking forward to this but didn't live up to my expectations. Arh well least was 1000 times better than Tim Vine Travels Through Time!!

Went the other evening to see this and did enjoy it, despite some bad behaviour in the audience! I've never seen any live staging of the wizard of oz so was good to go just to get it ticked off the list. There wasn't anything to really hate about the show but I didn't love it as much as previous crucible shows, although I think that was more the story than anything. The staging if this one was really good and as usual really innovative. Hoping next year they get back on track as Crucible Christmas is normally one of my fave visits of the year.

A few naughty audience members at the wizard of oz yesterday. A sets of ladies on the front row who chatted most the way through, 2 other ladies who were jokingly making signals and pretending to push the actors off the steps if they came near her and one man with a very loud laugh who thought it was hysterical every time the good witch or Toto came on. It wouldn't have been so bad if they weren't all part of one big party that came together and they were right in front of us! Bad behaviour really does spoil a show for me. Looking forward to when I win the lotto and can hire the whole theatre just for the well behaved!!

Public Dress Rehearsal tonight. Ah, that explains it. Thanks. I wondered why there was such a large queue at the box office on my lunchtime walk. My boss was saying a large queue this morning when he got in around 7 so must be a lot of people eager for a bargain. Looking forward to seeing this Monday.

I very rarely head to cinema but must say I thought this looked ok. If I can bring myself to forgive Hugh Jackman for his butchering of Les Mis (Well in my view I know some people loved him haha) then I might head to that there cinema.

Cabin Pressure is BRILLIANT, I strongly recommend everyone listen to it, and if you've run out, then you may wish to look into John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme and Double Acts. I did see souvenir programme as well will have to check it out once I've exhausted Cabin Pressure. I feel like I must have been loving under a rock to have missed it haha.

Audible recommended Cabin Pressure to me the other day and I had honestly never heard of it but had some credits to use up. It was fabulous I'm now debating whether to get all the others or calmly wait for my credits to renew. Today therefore started very late as got distracted listening to it.

I'm terrible at keeping track, I do have most of my programmes but ended up throwing away most of my tickets. In the end I went for a lazy way of keeping track and just posting the programme to my pinterest board. I'm very impressed as to how organised you lot are.

Just had an email from Sheffield about Flackers being replaced on medical grounds due to an injury. Hollie Casser is the replacement. Looking forward to this next week.
