I saw it this evening but wasn't blown away. Les Dennis still off but Scott seemed a good stand in as was funny and lovable. Carrie was OK but her voice going and she couldn't hit the high notes on some of her songs, they had just done two shows almost back to back though!! I think the highlight for me was Gomez, he was funny and kept the show going and me interested. I did see this on Broadway and there are obviously a few changes so maybe it didn't live up to the first show I saw it just felt like something was missing but not sure what.

I suddenly can't stop listening to sister act, on a week of painting the house and day 1 listened to it twice.... send help! It has helped the day along though need to find some more upbeat ones to paint along to.

I've spent most of the day recuperating hoping to feel better before work tomorrow but not sure that's going to happen now. I'm sure I have sinusitis and it's not fun, I can hardly speak, have major ringing in my ears and let's not mention my nose!
I've just downloaded a few crackanory stories from audible as they are free and actually some of them really good.

I think I'm going to try later, hoping select your own seats might come back when less busy as can't risk spending all that money on seats and having panic attack as in middle of a row. Stupid I know but just can't help it. Glad a lot of you have got tickets, fingers crossed for the rest of you.

Watched this after illness caused our new year plans to fall through and was thoroughly cheered up. I thought it was fantastic and wish had got to see live as bet it would be better. I'm not a big play person but do have play that goes wrong booked in this year so looking forward to this event more now.

I saw this last night and thought it was good. It didn't amaze me as much as anything goes or my fair Lady did but was still a perfect way to end my theatre year. I think AJC was phenomenal in it and appears to effortlessly perform she just oozes showbiz! The lead men were good and enjoyed the staging esp the train scene which was fantastic.
On a side note noted next year's tickets for wizard of oz already on sale so went to get our usual seats, £40 where has my crucible bargain gone sure only paid £18 for preview tickets in years gone by!!

Did anyone catch David Walliams and Friend with Sheridan Smith? This series is more miss than hit but she did a good job of some pretty naff material and we even got a bit of singing. I saw this the other day, as you say very hit and miss on the whole series but this was best episode so far. I loved the Barbie skit, actually reminded me of someone I work with!!

I do hope this still comes over as would have been one I'd like to watch. If they are delaying to get Alfie I'd be gutted can think of a lot more people I'd prefer to see.

Film wise it has to be It's a Wonderful Life and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, it's just not Christmas till I've seen them. Music, Michael Buble and Seth McFarlane christmas CDS Telly, not sure nothing much as can't think of anything which is guaranteed to be on. A sherlock christmas is always a good one!
It's also technically not Christmas till I've seen the crucible's christmas show.

A very Merry Christmas to you all, I hope wherever you are in the world you all have a wonderful time. Thank you to all of you who take time out your lives to post reviews and comments which keep me entertained and have directed me to some shows I might otherwise have missed. Let's hope 2017 is bigger and better for each of us personally, for this fabulous board and for theatre land.
XOXO

It's not been as busy as year for me as lots of things got in the way but my ultimate highlight was definitely Titanic, I'm so pleased groundhog day got delayed or I would never have seen it and without you lot recommending it would never have known about it so thank you musical people!! More highlights were Mary Poppins and Flowers for Mrs Harris. I'm hoping Annie get your Gun next week doesn't let me down as normally the crucible's christmas show blows me away. Here's to a fab 2017.
