Camelot or Nine could work quite well but would need star names to bring in punters.

Would also like to see Cabaret and bring back Alan Cumming with Judi Dench as Frauline Schneider. Probably too soon for a revival but on my wish list anyway.

And still performing and going strong. She played the role on Broadway not that long ago. Her performance of 'Liasons' at the Oliviers a few years back was sensational. She is pushed around in a wheelchair for her few scenes.

A Little Night Music with Angela Lansbury as Mme Armfeldt. C'mon..... she's 90.

Would be great to bring back Huge, sorry Hugh Jackman, to do something like Carousel.
Would love Evita but think that would be a great show for Regents Park.

New songs are also going to be added.
I was slightly disappointed that the rumoured sequel "White Lipstick" didn't materialise.

Finally saw this Saturday afternoon. Beautifully, beautifully directed - loved the "Perfect Year" and montage staging. Thanks to whoever suggested the limited edition print, too. Exquisite souvenir. I got 76 / 100, so my guess is they must sell about 5 per show. C29 stalls. You miss only a bit of the Desmond balcony, but at the end, if she stands in the wrong place, a couple of lines come from behind a pillar. Still, great value seat. I have 48/100 print which I bought (framed) on Friday night. Think they'll sell out soon although I don't know how many they have pre-framed? Great souvenir though! Lol. I have 49/100.

I would love ENO to do Evita but first I want them to do 'A Little Night Music' and bring over Angela Lansbury for it.

Really wish that Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella would do a Christmas run over here.

Revisited the show last night and thought the orchestrations didn't sound as full as they normally do. It sounded very similar to the thinner reduced tour orchestration. Have they reduced it?

First experience of theatre was, like many in this country, pantomime. It was Sinbad The Sailor at Eden Court Theatre, Inverness and featured many of the cast from Scottish soap opera 'Take The High Road'.
The first musical I saw onstage was an amateur production of 'Calamity Jane' by Lochaber Showstoppers in Fort William.
My first pro show was 'The Phantom Of The Opera' at the Edinburgh Playhouse.
First west end show was 'Starlight Express' and my first Broadway show was 'The King And I' last year.

Did Richard Dreyfus ever go on in The Producers or was he fired before previews began?

I have seen loads of shows (many several times) but fear I am a theatre glutton and have an extension wish list including Newsies, Martin Guerre, Mame, Bye Bye Birdie, Flower Drum Song, State Fair, Dear World, The Light In The Piazza, Bridges Of Madison County, She Loves Me and By Jeeves. To name a few off the top of my head.

Looks like it is another production from Sell A Door who produced the recent uk tour of Avenue Q and Spring Awakening.

James McEvoy could be an interesting choice for J.M. Barrie. I would like to see Douglas Hodge as Frohman and Liz Robertson as Mrs DuMaurier.

I'm hoping for a Kander and Ebb - ideally The Visit But who can say? Lots of Sondheim that they haven't tackled yet and I'm sure Woods is wanting to be staged due to the success of the film If not The Visit then perhaps 'The Rink'?

When will the programme be announced for this year's season?
Has 'Half A Sixpence' been confirmed? If so any idea who will play Kipps?

Anyone head anything about the summer and winter shows for the Chocolate Factory this year?
When are we likely to hear an announcement?
