"Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 OBC" is now available on Spotify... Or maybe it was available earlier, but I couldn't find it

This sounds like a great idea, and at the same time I am too lazy to do this It would be interesting from a discussion point of view - if we went through themes (for example, 'songs from musicals sung by 'best actress in a musical' winners from [insert decade], or 'Early Sondheim', or compiled highlights from [musical] using multiple recordings - e.g. Gypsy) then it wouldn't just be listening to a playlist, but discussing them too. A bit like a book club, but one based on cast recordings. I don't know, just an idea I had earlier, whilst bored at my desk and longing to listen to a bit of 'My Fair Lady' 🙈 Cool idea! I'm too busy right now with work/uni to contribute, but if you start a playlist, share it here so we can add to it! I've been listening to "Come from Away" on repeat this weekend and I wish that one day when I'm flying somewhere, the captain will belt something out in a style of Jenn Colella. "Thank you for flying Ryanaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaair"

Does anyone use Spotify? We should totally have a weekly Theatre Board playlist. This sounds like a great idea, and at the same time I am too lazy to do this

Can somebody please comment on the running time of the show (NTLive, including features)? Thanks! It started at around 7pm with the presenter giving a brief overview, then there was a short video about the author, the play started at around 7.30pm and I think I left the cinema at 10.20pm

I thought he was mocking the person having the prolonged coughing fit but it was hard to tell. I had the same impression because it happened in the middle of him speaking and it sounded quite loud.

Realised today that my problems with motivation are probably caused by the combination of "full time work" and "part time study" and "final assignments due next week" and "exam in two weeks" all resulting in "you are tired AF"... Decided to book couple of days off work at the start of June so that I can do sweet FA and just relax. Looking forward to that! Hang in there! and look forward to those days off. I feel that- I'm not studying but I've got so much work-outside-work going on that I'm a) exhausted b) struggling to get any of it done. Keep plodding on though and soon you'll get to those sweet FA days!! Thanks emi! I'm bit better now. Just came back from watching "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf?" and I think that all of Imelda's shouts worked the treat for me

Oh and that bloke in the stalls in the white vest. I mean, a white vest? For the theatre? HA! I was wondering if I will see a comment about him here When I saw him I though "Geez, it must be really hot in the theatre tonight..." Also, a question. Was it just me, or was there a lot of coughing at the end of the play and Conleth Hill reacted to it? Or was it just someone in my cinema?

Anyone else having minor sound problems? Keeps dropping out occasionally. Not sure if it's the live feed or just my cinema. Unfortunately same issues in View in Edinburgh. Sounds drops off for a second every 20ish minutes or so.

I often find myself walking around singing 'Ah-ba-dah, Bee-ba-dah,' like Karen. Whoops. I'm slightly disappointed that Grace's singing wasn't louder and more over the top in that trailer, but I can't wait. I hope Shelley Morrison can film some episodes - she didn't look well in the election episode last year. Karen has so many great musical moments! Favourites would be "I'm coming out, ka-pow!...... oh I AM coming out! Patience girls, save it for Lionel" and singing "To Sir, with Love"

Saw this last night! I can't wait for the show to be back! Megan Mullally looks like she didn't age at all. Just like Karen would

Good weekend. Lot of work done towards my Open Uni assignments. It was all going sooooo well, until my partner said "Guys at work were saying for months that we should watch White Chicks" and so we did. This is 2 hours I will never get back. Horrid...

And I'm just happy I can get a ticket. At any price. Living in Scotland, I treat going to London to see a show as a privilege, not a right. I think it would be lovely if everyone was able to get a £15 ticket to every show and for any seat, but it's not a world we live in.

Queue seems to be moving up nicely. 802 at the moment. I will definitely be pulled into a meeting the moment I reach the top of the queue.

It is for us peasants But some already will have an account (as you need to create one when buying online). If you don't have an account already, don't worry, you will be prompted at the point of purchase.

I'm possibly showing my embarrassing sitcom taste here, but this whole thread keeps reminding me of the 'Woo Girls' in How I Met Your Mother... This is so true. When I went to see "La cage" with my partner he said to me at the end "I couldn't focus because of the woo girls next to us..."

Regular as clockwork. It's a bank holiday so dog has thrown her back into spasm. Let's hope my spare supplies of Tramadog work or it's going to be an expensive trip to an open doggie hospital. Right. That's me calmed down. Now for the dog........Oh no I hope she's ok!!!

I just found out that Carousel from Lincoln Center (2013 I think) with Kelli O'Hara, Jessie Mueller, et al. is available on DVD on amazon.com (not available in the UK unfortunately). A colleague is going to states soon and has kindly offered to bring it back for me.

My friend is very active at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh. I never thought much about it, but I went to couple of events and found it to be really interesting. Some people have brilliant way with words. Hope you'll enjoy it!
