I have a degree in museum studies, but I'm currently working front of house at a West End theatre while I consider doing the irresponsible thing and head back to school in the hopes of doing some stage management training.

Is the general sale for this supposed to start Thursday? My sister (who isn't an ATG or Almeida member) just got an email from ATG with a link to some pre-sale. Not sure why she got it, but there were lots of nice tickets available!

I was successful with the ballot, the email showed up in my inbox just before noon on Thursday.

Right side block in seat 11 ish? You managed to avoid all the chattering tourists who were sat in the row above me That was me! Hello! Luckily they were easy enough to ignore from where I was, but we did get the phone offender in our row. I hope they didn't ruin the show completely for you!

Got a lovely last minute £25 seat in the middle of the grand circle. I'm pretty sure the lady in row B directly down from me is going on theatre board at the moment. No badge though! That may have been me! I loved this. I've never seen anything like this before, and it was clear that a lot of effort has gone into creating something truly spectacular. I really hope that all of their work pays off and the show does well. I cannot wait to make a return visit from April, this time enjoying it from one of those lovely front row stalls seats.

Do you know your seat in advance with the Rush tix? I was assigned seats when I put them into my basket on the app.

I also got a rush ticket for the front row yesterday. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this, but I really enjoyed it. I didn't understand all of it, but didn't feel like that took away from the experience in any way.
On a more personal note, I also had a think about how, at this point last year, I would not have been able to sit through this, let alone enjoy it thoroughly. Interesting how tastes can change, isn't it.

I was thinking it might be something like that. I think I might wait till there's a bit more information about the view floating about. Thanks!

I'm very tempted by those front row seats, but I'm just a little concerned about the height of the stage. Is it likely that we won't be able to see the dancers' feet?

I was there and they were offering one £15 ticket, but it was very quickly and happily snapped up. Everyone left after that assuming that was it, maybe we all left a bit too early?

Groundhog Day. I went in expecting to dislike it, but it quickly won me over and by the interval I was thinking about how badly I wanted to make a return trip.

I think it depends on the night, I was in the front row one night and Albus managed to spit a big mouthful of water all over me. It was certainly an immersive experience.

Loved it again, and so sad to see it go! Two people down the aisle from me strangely decided to leave during the middle of Seeing You, which did ruin the moment slightly, but it was an excellent performance regardless. I hope it does well in New York.

Caved and got one of the 21 pound restricted view seats in the dress circle. May only be able to see half of the show, but it is the day that I hand in the last requirement for my masters degree, and since I have no family in town, it will be my celebration for completing it.

I'm here tonight, so I asked at the box office. They have a handful at other price points held back for release tomorrow. Not many though, so we are going to have to duke it out for the few they have.

Booked to see this on the first of December. 35 was more than I would have liked to pay, but it could be worse and I honestly couldn't resist this one. Really looking forward to it.

I was just wondering what the shipping time is on these. I ordered mine to a London address on the 22nd of August, so I assume it went out with the first batch, and it still hasn't made it to me. I'm starting to get worried that it may have been lost en route. Someone will be in touch with you about this cmcphail sorry about the delay. Not a big deal, just wanted to ask.

Despite having a ticket to see it again, I think I will also join the fray and try and book that additional performance. I ordered my badge at the end of August, maybe it will arrive and I can bring it with me

It took two and a half hours of waiting for the site to load before I finally managed to get everything booked.
Their website seems almost too bad to be unintentional. Surely they are sick of people rightfully complaining at them about it.

This has to be one of my favourites, I am definitely booking this one. Would love to be able to finally see it live!

Definitely Dreamgirls! My only experience with the show was a production at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre several years ago, and the most memorable bit was the unfortunate placement of a table that blocked most of the action. Seeing Dreamgirls not through the legs of a table is going to be like seeing a completely different show.

I decided to hop on the bandwagon like you attractive people and upload a profile picture. I always knew that I really disliked my appearance, but seeing how few pictures I actually have of myself really sent that message home. Maybe this will help me get over that!

Are there still day seats being sold for this? I've not seen anything go up online before the shows, has anyone had any luck at the box office? I asked about day seats at the box office yesterday and the woman I spoke to told me that they do day seats for every show. They have some set aside, and will also sell any returns at day seat price, which I think is £30.

I was also at the matinee today. I wasn't a fan of Matilda at all, but I really loved this one. Andy Karl was brilliant, and I really enjoyed being able to see something brand new.
I really hope that we get a recording of this one.

I was there last night, for the fourth and final time as well. I really love this production, it's the first time I have really felt truly sad about something having to close so early.

Hi! Did anyone get lucky in the Friday Forty this week? Has anyone (on the board), ever been successful on Friday 40? I won right at the beginning of the run, and my sister managed to get through just last week. We just got back from seeing it again, this time from the front row. I really love this production, seeing the books that meant so much to me when I was younger brought to life and extended so competently on stage is a very emotional and very inspiring experience. Good luck to everyone still trying!

I went last night and was surprised about how much I enjoyed it. It took me a few minutes to get into it, but it really grew on me. I particularly liked Barrett and Bride's duet.
I spent my morning at work convincing my colleagues to go see it before it closes, it really is the kind of production that sticks with you.

This is a show that I've never seen a professional production of, but have always really wanted to see. And my student visa ends in January.
I'm going to go pout and continue looking for a job that will make it worth staying.
