I always think the August Bank Holiday is the introduction to Autumn. Aah yes Autumn! Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness. Apples, gourds, close-bosomed friends of the thingywotsit etc
But enough of that. What is the ONE show you're booked and looking forward to THE MOST between now and Christmas?
No lists of what your schedule is please. Major Zzzzzzz. It's not a competition. Just the ONE show you're most looking forward to seeing
Mine is Strictly Ballroom at the WYP. I'm expecting fabulous!
Over to you....

The Bodyguard or Sister Act.
Would say Dreamgirls as that opens in December but I'm not seeing that to next year anyway

Dreamgirls! I adore the film, score and story. Easily been on my wish list to see for as long as I can remember. It has a lot to live up to

Definitely Dreamgirls! My only experience with the show was a production at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre several years ago, and the most memorable bit was the unfortunate placement of a table that blocked most of the action. Seeing Dreamgirls not through the legs of a table is going to be like seeing a completely different show.

I'm worried it might be a huge anti climax. Please god no. My 'one' is something without too much hype behind it.

It's got to be Groundhog Day for me - I'm seeing it on my birthday and everyone's been raving about it so I'm looking forward to it immensely!

One thing I'm also looking forward to this Autumn is the great theatre news we have been told we will receive!! After what's been a pretty dead summer in terms of theatre news and gossip, I'm looking forward to some good news coming in the next few weeks/months. Also, I've got lots of shows I'm looking forward to before the year ends so I'm looking forward to them!

Well I won't get to see it until December, so it's not Autumn by any means - but I'm also saying Lazarus.

Gonna sound strange to be so excited considering I have seen the show 13 times already, but Rachel Tucker in Wicked I am really excited for! If we are not including things we have already seen, then probably Side Show!

School of Rock - pure and simple fun entertainment. I love the catchy soundtrack and the film was quite wonderful with a big heart.
(not seeing Dreamgirls and Lazarus till January, but even so I'd put SoR above them)
