Casting is a tough one...I thought perhaps someone like Sabrina Aloueche or Blythe Jandoo for Tzipporah and Maiya Quansah-Breed for Miriam perhaps?

I'm really sorry if this has already been asked but does anyone know if the current cast will still be in London in October? Also, I'm assuming it's a different cast going on tour? Thank you I believe the cast have contracts until january. I have read somewhere that Grace leaves in August, not sure about Courtney or Vicki.
As for the tour, it has been confirmed that it will be a new cast.

I thought their performance was their best to date! They jam packed loads of energy on that stage! As usual, it attracted some negative comments on Twitter, but you can't please everyone. The racist comments were totally unwarranted. I'm all for people voicing their opinion and saying they personally didn't like it, but attacking the actresses is totally wrong.

Another lesson in why these theatre pages shouldn't post anything until it is officially confirmed.

I liked Norway and Serbia. I can only hope the UK fares better than last year's terrible score.

I think they will wait for the UK tour to finish before they decide to screen it in cinemas here.

How very badly worded that Tweet is! It makes it sound so sinister and will no doubt unnerve some audience members or potential ticket buyers. Why they couldn't just state that a fire alarm had been activated is beyond me.

I booked with Six tickets, I thought they seemed the most "official" ticket agent. Thanks for your help! No problem! If you phone the customer service team tomorrow on 0333 023 1550 they should be able to assist you further.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to exchange Six tickets for another performance? It depends on who you booked it with. If you booked with the box office via the websaite link or in person they may charge you an admin fee to change performance date. The 3rd party "Six Tickets" (which is a supplier called Ingresso) have different T&Cs. You'd need to contact whoever directly. If you let me know who you booked it with I can point you in the right direction.

I’m quite surprised they’re playing the Festival. It is still quite a large theatre and most productions tend to close off the upper circle. I was surprised by this too, but I guess if it's playing the Mayflower then I guess it would be expected to play a big theatre in Edinburgh. I think it would have been more suited to a space like the Pleasance. My guess it will also either play at Glasgow's Kings or Theatre Royal or Aberdeen His Majesty's. Althoguh I thought it worked well in the SEC Centre in Glasgow.

3 Dec - 5 Jan - The Lowry, Salford 1 - 5 July 2020 Mayflower, Southampton
These are the only two tours dates I know of at the minute but perhaps there have been more announced that I'm just not aware of.

I'm doing a short survey on SIX as part of a project for work. If anyone could take 5 minutes to complete it, I would really appreciate it! www.surveymonkey.com/r/GT9R6PJ

Seeing it this weekend, slightly concerned as I think Millie was the performer on the One Show? And she was weak imho. Might snatch the mic off her and do it myself I'm in agreeance with what other people have said: Millie is much better live than she was on The One Show. Her comedic timing is good and her facial expressions (along with Alexia's) are hilarious! "Don't Lose Ur Head" is way better in context too.

It was a similar situation when Renee got brought back in Glasgow. Any of the megasixes, and in one now-deleted video of "Six", you can just see her stood to the side observing everyone else. I'm really surprised the Mega-Six she stood at the side. It's hardly choreography in that number, more just standing and improvising on the spot from what I've seen. Yeah, the MegaSix is more improvising as demonstrated really well by crazy Millie! That girl just goes for it and is in a whole world of her own during it! It's actually very amusing to watch!

As sad as the fire is, it will likely be rebuilt and Notre Dame has survived many disasters and events in its history. I know, and I have no doubt Paris will do everything to ensure it does get rebuilt. But you can't recreate and restore over 600 years of history...

Yep! I think they have been together for two years now! Pretty sure they met prior to SIX. They make such a sweet couple.
They were in In the Heights at King’s Cross together in 2016 so definitely met before Six Ah, I forgot Genesis was in In The Heights! I never got around to seeing it, but I do remember reading Aimie was cast as Daniela.

Is this perhaps what the auditions were for the other week? I would assume the current cast are on year contracts so would guess it would be a brand new cast for the tour.

I rewinded and it looks like Aimie didn't have the braid back in after the performance. The camera was focused on her when the "Best Supporting Actress" nominations were read out and it's quite dark to see but it doesn't look like it. So she must have just had the braid for the red carpet. certainly a waste of a look because she looked amazing on the red carpet, but I get the logic as I suppose if you have to look stunning for one part you want it to be on the red carpet. She's a beautiful girl so no matter what her hairstyle is, she always looks amazing.
I agree Daniel, she looked stunning! Loved her dress; don't think many people could pull it off but Aimie looked fab in it! Did you see the photos of her with Genesis? They just look so good together.

It is simply just a quick change into show outfits and out again. That's why you see alot of actresses in particular tend to perform with their award show makeup but in costume, it's just practicality. It should be noted, with the Six girls, they actually opened Act 2 of the ceremony. So they had the entire interval to get ready for their performance.
Yes, but Aimie Atkinson in particular had a really fancy braided to, which she could have just left in place for the performance, but instead swapped to her ponytail - wouldn't have taken too long to undo the fancy do and put it in a pony tail during the interval. But then she was back in her fancy do again after the performance. It seems crazy to me.
Not only that, I have seen photos from the after party and her hair was back in the ponytail again!

How did the practicalities work for the performances? People arrived for the red carpet in whatever hair and makeup and dresses, and then performed, and then were seen in the audience later back in their red carpet outfits again. Ok, I can see for Rosalie Craig she could just nip out, change her frock and shoes, do her song and then change back. But the ladies from Six had some very elaborate hair for the red carpet (and again when the awards were being given out, not long after their performance) but totally different hair for the performance. Sharon D Clarke was another one who looked totally different ten minutes after her performance when she was claiming her award. Do they really all have their hair done three times in one night? I was also wondering this! I noticed Aime Atkinson had had her hair elaborately braided and coiffed yet she had her usual high ponytail for the performances then afterwards had her braided hairstyle again. I can't imagine she got her hair styled that quickly again after their performance.

I didn’t think the one show performance was bad, it’s just not something that works outside the context of the show.
True, it wasn't put in context at all, and unless you were really paying attention earlier in the show, you wouldn't even have known it was Ann Boleyn. Also, the last verse was cut (for being a bit saucy) and that's really the point of the number, as it explains how Henry came to order her execution.
I imagine it was chosen as they can't keep doing the same number and of all the solos, it at least involves the other five.
Such a shame that it didn't quite work and was not well received.
It's not representative of the rest of the show, there's a wide variety of "pop" styles; that one is Lily Allen/Kate Nash and is quite witty as a pastiche, I think. But if that's not to your taste, there's so much more to enjoy. The whole show is funny and sassy, and delightfully camp, but so difficult to represent in one short performance. So many people seem to be writing it off without even seeing it, which is a huge shame.
I agree about it not being representative of the rest of the show. I loved SIX when I saw it when it was in Glasgow on tour and I have booked again to see it in London. It's really sad that a lot of people have been put off seeing it by one performance as the show overall is great.
Some of the comments online are brutal though and a bit uncalled for. As someone else has already pointed out, most bands sound a bit rubbish on The One Show. I think Millie and the rest of the queens gave it a good bash with what song they were given to perform, despite not working very well out of context.

Also, the Queens are performing on The One Show on BBC1 on 2nd April if anyone is interested in seeing them. As a result, the evening show that evening has been amended to 8.30pm.

Perhaps performances will start October 3rd? That would be so fetch! Stop trying to make "fetch" happen because it's not going to happen!
