I was in H34 tonight and the legroom was non existent - I had to sit sideways just to fit in the chair (admittedly, I am just over 6ft, but even the ladies next to me struggled).
I really liked Andy Nyman - I didn't know the piece, so any line flubs to me weren't obvious. His singing was a bit flat in places, but he was very good.

It was pretty well sold tonight and all 3 levels were open.

No - the individual queen songs are all very different, as the queens are inspired by different singers. Personally, it's not my favourite song from the show - the title song 'Six' is my favourite.

There really won't be many nights in the theatre that will even come close to what I saw this evening - extraordinary show. Every single person was on top form and it made for a magical show, with an incredible atmosphere. Multiple standing ovations during the show for Jonathan's, Patti's and Rosalie's big numbers - then an instant standing ovation at the end. Very emotional curtain call, with most of the cast in tears - they clearly all love the show and love each other a lot.
Lady sat next to me made a comment at the interval about how everyone is desperate to show that they've seen the show multiple times, and she was stony faced throughout.

I believe Sarah was Jenna in rehearsals when Katharine wasn't there - so I would assume Sarah is first cover.

Just to clarify, Jennifer has alopecia which is why she's bald (as she mentions in her hashtags in a number of posts including this one from rehearsals:) http://instagr.am/p/BnVlPQwnNOd The guy who you think looks like Jason Momoa in the Another Hundred People scene is Ashley Campbell.

First act of this was, for me, incredibly boring. Second act was considerably better and more seemed to happen. As has been said already, the songs are not memorable which is a problem for me, though I do remember liking Sharon and Abiona's big songs in act 2. The cast were good - Sharon, Abiona and Jack Meredith were the standouts (that is a big role for a child).

It dragged for me - like David and missthelma, I wish more of it was like that scene between the 2 families. Too much time was spent on certain scenes, and I didn't feel like Kiki Layne was a strong enough lead. The only performance I remember is Regina King's performance, for which she has been nominated for an Oscar.

Am I right in thinking Mike Colbourne hasn't been on for any of his covers yet? His IG story has made me wonder about this - there seem to be a few covers on today and he's not one of them. I know all the others have been on for at least some of their cover roles.

Saw this last night and thought it was absolutely brilliant - so moving and uplifting at the same time. Whole cast were phenomenal - one name I haven't seen mentioned that much that I thought deserved a mention was Jonathan Andrew Hume - he was hilarious at times, but heartbreaking at other times.

Just out of the matinee - I enjoyed it. Natalie McQueen is brilliant in this, I enjoyed her more in this than Kinky Boots - this role suits her perfectly. Caroline Sheen was also very good, and Bonnie Langford was great as Roz. Rhiane Drummond was good, but clearly nervous which is understandable. The final chorus of Get Out and Stay Out was mostly flat and I felt she could have given it more acting wise in that song too.

Saw this last night - it was pretty funny throughout but the songs were pretty ordinary (I quite liked Cassandra's number and Boycie's and Marlene's rather ridiculous song). The cast were great - especially Tom Bennett, Ryan Hutton and Paul Whitehouse who were all very likeable - Oscar Conlon-Murray stole the show though with his different characters. This won't win awards but it was fun to watch.

I think some of us screwed ourselves over with this one after being so spoiled with the incredible Come From Away. That's the comment I keep on seeing and hearing. 😂😂 I'm doing it the other way round - I've seen Waitress and really enjoyed it (with the singing of one character the exception), hoping to enjoy Come From Away just as much on Friday.

I saw this last night - one of the queens does talk to (or at) someone in the front row, but they're not required to respond. The same queen got someone up to dance, but it was someone who was clearly willing to do it - I don't think she'd have chosen someone who clearly didn't want to.

Rather enjoying this so far, with the exception of Jack McBrayer’s singing which is dreadful (though he is very funny). Stephen Leask is getting a lot of laughs as is Marisha Wallace. Katharine McPhee is great as Jenna.

Saw the touring production of this today - really enjoyed it. I love Mischief Theatre and love everything they do, but this is my favourite of their 3 plays. The changes they've made for the touring production are generally good (not sure about one of the changes towards the end of the show but I won't spoil it).
I sat next to Sean Carey when I saw this in London when Dave Hearn was on - he was very excited to get started, and for me, he is a perfect fit as Sam. The scene with Caprice and Mitch was very funny.
Dave Coomber as Cooper was a VERY different interpretation to the Coopers I have seen before. He was good all round, but his Robin Freeboys (as Cooper) was absolutely hilarious - definitely my favourite Cooper/Freeboys I've seen.
I really enjoyed George Hannigan's Everybody Else - lots of very funny moments from him.
Everybody else was really good (Eddy Westbury was on as Mitch) - some great voices in this cast which meant the songs were very well performed. Am seeing the London production in 2 weeks time, so it'll be good to compare that cast to the touring cast.

I've not seen it, but everyone online says it was all recorded up to where Brennin broke his ankle (off stage after What You Own), then it was live after that.

It was the first UK tour of Hairspray for me - I'd seen some musicals before then (very infrequently), but Hairspray was the one that got me hooked. It was a combination of the songs, performances, and just the pure joy that the show gives off that got me into seeing musicals regularly after that.

Chicago - Thought the book and score were both dull - All That Jazz and When You're Good To Mama (though Ruthie Henshall was rather flat throughout the song) being the only song I liked. Cuba Gooding Jr was poor and Ruthie Henshall and Josefina Gabrielle both flat whenever they sang.
Young Frankenstein - all a bit forgettable and I didn't find it at all funny.
King and I - that ballet was so incredibly boring (and long) I nearly fell asleep.

Pleased for Kevin after so many finals - wouldn't be surprised if he bows out at the top like his sister did if Rock of Ages goes well for him.

The King And I - I was bored at times (especially in act 2 with that ridiculously long ballet) and I didn't really enjoy it as much as most people seemed to. I don't think the fact I was agony due to the severe lack of legroom helped either.

Luke has posted that he's performing on Children In Need - pretty sure John is still indisposed after he went off mid-way through a show at the end of last week.

Saw this tonight for the first time - enjoyed it but I wasn't blown away by it.
Thought the cast were mostly terrific. Jamael and Sifiso were brilliant in the 2 leading roles, and I am especially pleased to see Sifiso has been promoted to lead for the next cast, as he was really excellent.
Waylon was on for King George and he was great - very funny. He made Sifiso semi-corpse in act 2 just by pulling a funny face when he was sat on the side. Thought the main 3 ladies were all very good - I've seen some slightly negative reviews about Rachelle but I thought she gave a very strong performance, particularly in act 2.
Thought Obioma was very good as Washington, and I really enjoyed his One Last Time. Jack Butterworth was a very good Laurens/Philip Hamilton, and I enjoyed Tarinn Callender as Mulligan/Madison.
By far and away the weakest performance was Jason Pennycooke - I didn't understand a single word he said in either act 1 or 2. After act 1, I thought it may have been because of the accent, but then he was just as hard to understand in act 2. His diction was very poor.
I quite liked the choreography and it was performed well by the ensemble. The score was quite good, but (as I feared) there was a bit too much rapping for me (I loathe rapping/hip hop as a musical genre) - but that's more of a personal taste thing.
Lastly, I hate how much I had to pay just to see this - £100 for a semi-decent Royal Circle seat (it was the cheapest left when bought) is much too expensive really, and I wouldn't pay that much to see the show again, though I would see the show again if prices came down.
