According to some twitter users!
Quite surprised to see it's coming in! I wonder if it'll be the UK tour production from a few years back

I'm a huge fan of the score but the UK tour a few years back was a hot mess. Very surprised it's getting another life

**** me. There’s absolute tripe like this getting two bites of the cherry, and the likes of Next to Normal haven’t even played a WEEK in this country. I’ve been lucky enough to see it; but for anyone else this far deprived of that show, or the dozens of other quality shows which haven’t made it here for fear they won’t “connect”... well, enjoy your “9 to 5” again.
Absolutely damning indictment of the garbage we’re taking in right now.

From what I have heard it is not the old UK tour, different producers this time round.
Personally, having mixed a student production, I'm glad it is coming in. Really fun show with a cracking score and deserves to be seen in London.

Yeah looks like Selladoor//Hartshorn-Hook producing, who are both fairly...hit & miss...

Why on earth is this happening? This is a show which couldn't even manage a six month run on Broadway with the sainted Allison Janney in the lead.

My local musical society did this a few years back. It’s enjoyable for what it is but it does seem a little bit of a step down after Dreamgirls. Are they really going to cast Louise Redknapp?! To be fair to her, she had a better voice than I expected in Cabaret.

There were some cool things about the Broadway set but I really hated the screens when the stage was empty.
I hope they redesign it a bit for this production.

They’re making a sequel to the film, same cast Fonda, Tomlinson and Dolly.
It will be about octogenarian office workers, presumably. Bit of a stretch, no?

I saw the touring production and didn't care much about it. The casting news for this production does't get me excited enough to buy a ticket so for the time being I will give this a miss. Maybe I'll change my mind if the reviews are very good.

For the fortunate people who didn’t see it, Louise Redknapp was dreadful in the Cabaret tour and has all the charisma of a wet paper bag. As for playing comedy, let’s think back to her extended stint on Strictly. Didn’t exactly play it for laughs did she.
From what I’ve just read about Amber Davies this sounds like the absolute pits with Natalie McQueen being the only shining light.

Can someone enlighten this dumb foreigner who Louise Redknapp is? Should I know her? I know I don't know anything about the British Love Island contestants.
Quite accidentally we saw 9 to 5 when it first opened in Los Angeles before Broadway and I quite enjoyed it. Granted, it was a top-notch cast with Alison Janney, Stephanie J. Block and Megan Hilty. Not sure about this now, but wouldn't mind seeing it again.

Let's be fair now, Broadway only managed to get Allison Janney, Stephanie J Block and Megan Hilty for their production.
Oh.
