Was looking on Today Tix earlier today for the London Theatre Week and checking Book Of Mormon availability. Then just went in again and it's disappeared from the list and message saying will let you know when tickets available again. Can't even book full price tickets. Strange.

I think it's that the London Theatre Week site has a problem. Lots of other shows are unavailable too on their site.

Is this down for anyone else this morning? Trying to book two shows and I keep getting card declined or similar stuff, my bank is having no issues and there is money on the card - it has not been a good morning for my blood pressure.

Anyone else think this is getting worse?
Are they still jumping the queue with their loophole for rush tickets? For the last week on bang on 10 and all tickets held until sold out and that’s trying hundreds of times with re selecting (that’s over 3 shows not just one!)

For the last week on bang on 10 and all tickets held until sold out and that’s trying hundreds of times with re selecting (that’s over 3 shows not just one!) I tried for Evan yesterday and Monday and couldn’t get them, however I think the availability must be really low due to the show about to close. I would say though a large number of people now use TodayTix and rush as their primary way of getting cheaper tickets. Whenever I mention to colleagues at work about going to the theatre I’m often asked if it’s what I use to get my tickets without any prompting, where pre pandemic is was definitely rarer for people to know about it.

I did DEH back in the summer, and managed to get 'Rush' tickets at about 11:30am.

I hope this doesn't meant they will have less rush tix available on the day. They may hold some back for their physical shop? Hopefully not.

So it’s exactly the same as buying on your phone.
This is just a glorified advert in a very prominent place, surely?

Is there any opening date? It’s in a good spot to catch tube travellers before they get to all the ticket booths leading to Leicester Square and the TKTS outlet! Hadn’t there been a ticket outlet in the underground station before, I seem to remember enquiring about show tickets and being quoted a very high price for tickets and fees for not very good seats!

So it’s exactly the same as buying on your phone Not really, I'd say. You can ask the concierge team for advice before you use the kiosk and they'll be there (hopefully) if you encounter trouble while booking, so you aren't on your own like you are when you book on your phone at home. Foreign tourists who buy at short notice may a) not be aware that TodayTix even exists and b) not have a data package to use their phone in the UK all the time, so the kiosk is a great option for them. Lastly, MAYBE, these kiosks will actually PRINT tickets rather than give you a lame QR code for your phone and as someone who's always collected the old ticket stubs, I'd really like that (in fact I screenshot the stupid digital tickets now and print them... shoot me if you want).

Finally open within the station. Lastly, MAYBE, these kiosks will actually PRINT tickets rather than give you a lame QR code for your phone and as someone who's always collected the old ticket stubs, I'd really like that (in fact I screenshot the stupid digital tickets now and print them... shoot me if you want). Appears that the kiosks have had the printers covered over so it's just a variation of the app. They seem to be providing their own WiFi network, guessing in order to encourage you to make use of the app, as any attraction tickets that TodayTix offer aren't available from the kiosks and are only on the app. As I didn't try the Kiosks myself unsure how they're delivering the tickets purchased, if it'll be via the app or email.

Todaytix have never offered printed tickets, and until now have never sold anywhere apart from online. They have always claimed to be about "disrupting" the ticketing marketplace with technology. It's unlikely they will ever be equipping self service machines with ticket printers.

Such a shame this lot have been allowed to gain such a monopoly on theatre tickets,On the whole though they are ok but if you have a problem an urgent response is totally impossible.

If anyone else has had issues with TodayTIX and many messages on X about it,they have been charging the card but not processing the tickets. Managed to get my issue sorted by calling 020-4538-8272

I’ve just opened the Today Tix app and have seen a banner explaining their (new?) rewards scheme.
Three tiers - Red, Silver and Gold, requiring you to buy 2, 6 or 12 tickets a year to access. The rewards look good, nothing big but some small discounts and nice perks.
Definitely worth a look and will encourage me to use them more, depending on my usual checking of multiple sites to make sure I’m getting the best seat at the best price of course!

I noticed that too. I qualify for Gold, which means I'll get 10% off, can get ticket protection for just £1. Purely based on that alone, I suspect I'll order most of my tickets from TodayTix from now on. They also have TixCash, which I believe is 2% 'cash' toward future purchases. Not mindblowing, but still more than most offers.
Apparently I'm in the top 2% of TodayTix members which is crazy, cause I've only used it for 1 year and only ordered tickets 10 times.

Is there a page on the website or the app explaining the system? I got a pop-up saying I'm Red Tier, but when I clicked the button to learn more all I can see is that they've given me £4 credit in my account, but I can't find the actual explanation of the scheme.
10% off sounds good - on standard price tickets their old cashback scheme was usually not better than buying direct, due to the added fees.

Looks like I'll hit silver the week after next as the shows are added once you've attended.

I'm surprised by how decent this new scheme looks! I don't use TodayTix anywhere near as much as I used to, but I'm still Silver and the perks look good enough for me to start using them again more regularly. A very pleasant surprise.
