Paladdium, Dominion and Drury Lane seem to be the top contenders. That being said, I personally want Frozen to stay away from the West End for a while because I'm working on my own fantasy show at the moment. Not that I have a producer or any kind of budget or anything. But one can dream. I support your creative mind, peace and love, but I hope it comes over before Anastasia, which is a show for some reason I have no desire whatsoever to see. I kind of like the music of Anastasia. It's not gonna be the next Wicked for me, but it seems like an enjoyable show. |

Judging my the design of the Broadway house for it (Palace Theatre), its quite a wide theatre and a deep stage. Which, naturally, your mind goes to somewhere like the Dominion as it is kinda the same layout. Another thought would be the Apollo Victoria if we are going for similar design, but I doubt Wicked will close up anytime soon, especially with the movie itself coming soon. The Palace on Broadway is a house that seats 1,743 people, which also could indicate them wanting that specific size house and seats in order to not only hold the set and production, but also have that many people see the show to get the money to cover it. I would imagine it will take over, as said above, somewhere like the Prince Edward, Dominion or Drury Lane, or a theatre of that size and design. Maybe the Palladium actually, since they are a house known for family musicals? Frozen is going to the Saint James Theatre which is being renovated for the production. I saw Something Rotten there and it's big but not barn like so I would say the Prince Edward if the stage is big enough but Drury Lane would my choice. The AV stage is surprisingly small, it's a miracle Wicked managed to fit and the Palladium's stage isn't all that big either. |

I think the variety of Broadway can fare having Lion King, Anastasia, Aladdin and Frozen all running at the same time. I'll also throw in Wicked in there, though it's not a cartoon to musical or Disney, but it seems to sit comfortably in that category.
It would be a tragedy if this would to happen in the West End though. There would be barely any space for another variety, with the long runners occupying other major theatres and plays running in smaller venues. I would think if/when Frozen does come, it'll come in replacing something like Aladdin. I'm not sure of its sales, but although Aladdin seems to be doing well it does not seem to be Disney's new Lion King. Though you never know. Agh..this sucks.

Booked in for May 2018, so excited. Return direct flights for under £350, I just couldn't say no. My prediction is that Frozen will come over to the UK in 2019/20, and replace Aladdin at the Prince Edward which will close and go on tour. Probably wrong  |

The characters are basically the cartoon characters but live, so I really don't have much to say. I'd rather see pictures of the set (or of the set with actors in them) over actors in a photo shoot.

Jilani's costume feels a bit baggy. It would look a bit more stylish and flattering if it was tapered around the waist and if the trousers are a little more fitted.

Jilani's costume feels a bit baggy. It would look a bit more stylish and flattering if it was tapered around the waist and if the trousers are a little more fitted. I have to disagree. Whilst it would look more stylish, it wouldn't look right for the character who is essentially a labourer who digs up and transports ice. I see him as being a bit more rough around the edges compared to the royalty. You're right about them basically being the cartoon characters live. They have stuck very closely to the film which I guess makes sense. I am very interested to see how they portray Olaf and the trolls. There is a picture floating around of part of the set which looks stunning but doesn't really show all that much. |

The set picture looks amazing. There's another picture that shows the entire cast assembled on stage during one of the early rehearsals, with their back towards the auditorium. You can't see the set but you can see the stage floor, which is light blue. There are also a few pictures of the proscenium. There's also a picture of the curtain from last night's invited dress rehearsal.

I never thought I'd be excited about this but seeing all these little things come out now that it's opening has got me all giddy. Same! I actually didn't even love the movie at all, I only really enjoyed the Let It Go sequence and thought it was terrific, but I'm a sucker for a big, expensive mega-musical. I posted a screenshot of my ticket on Facebook, and my friends who are either total Broadway snobs or hate Broadway to begin with (I know how could we be friends?) just rolled their eyes and said that I need a support group.

Ooh I love the chorus vocals that they've added towards the end! With Stephen Oremus as music arranger/supervisor, this was always gonna sound incredible. Plus from the cheers it sounds like the ice creation is quite spectacular too. I've got to be honest, I rolled my eyes when they announced they were taking the film to the stage, but from everything I've seen/heard so far it's actually turning out to be a fantastic musical in its own right. |
