Where would be best to sit for this, around the £40 mark? 40.00 would get you back of the stalls or circle...

Not too long until Lucie takes over. Rehearsals must begin quite soon I’d imagine Lucie posted on Twitter that rehearsals start on Monday 😀 I pray we don’t have a lockdown as I assume this will affect the start date of the new cast! She has been in to do a bit of blocking already. Went up in the lift etc..

Did anyone receive their e-tickets for To Kill a Mockingbird? Bit odd they've emailing it this early considering it doesn't start until March. Got mine this am

I have seen some of Christopher's Durang's plays before and I was looking forward to this one. It is a very funny play, clever without being pedantic (the Chekhovian references are well done and relevant to the characters). I don't understand many of the criticisms: why would you have to be laughing non-stop in a comedy? Comedy is a matter of tone, seeing things with distance and humour while caring for the characters, unlike farce, for instance. And what a cast! Not only are of all them very good, they seem to be having the time of their lives working together. Direction is very good too, comedy beats are perfect and the play sails smoothly. It is a pity that the theatre was almost empty; still, the cast gave it all and it deserves a better run. I will try to see it again and definitively will recommend it to everyone. Go and see this play! Yes its quite brilliant!

For those who have been in the past few days, what time were you coming out, with all the technical stops? (Bit worried I'll not make my train tonight.) Came out around 9.45pm on sat night..

Also Cabaret is one of the hardest iconic musical films to find a decent copy to watch. I have two DVD versions both kf which put the film in a horrible window box format with bars on all four sides - both of them are 4:3 letterbox versions which just looks awful. I can’t find a real widescreen version ( it was made 1.85.1 so should have virtually no black bars on a widescreen Tv) in the UK and the Blu-ray was only released in the USA. And it’s not on any streaming platforms in the UK as far as I can see. The usa blu ray is region free so will play on a uk player if imported...

Thanks for this Mark I’m hoping to see it when I’m back in London next month. I can see booking for this hasn’t been particularly high… How full was it when you went? Was around 1/3 full. Those Monday evening early previews were never going to be easy for a niche play like this I guess. I saw this at Bath a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it..Going to this run over Xmas...

Always been there for me ref bookings..log in..scroll to bottom of page ..click on manage account..brings up recent bookings which can be clicked on to open up the booking.. if they don't go back far enough click on management options and then order history then you have the whole list... The only list I can ever see is a list if booking numbers, not great when you have lots booked and want to find a specific show quickly. Honestly I just feel like a broken record at this point, but honestly - what to ATG think they're doing? What's the benefit to them, making the website so useless? Surely dealing with all these complaints eat up their time that could be spent... FIXING THE WEBSITE! When I click on those booking numbers on the list..it opens up the booking with all details...

I'm honestly thinking about cancelling my ATG Card. They make it so difficult to login to get the discount that if you're buying tickets in a hurry, it's actually easier just to pay the fee. I never get emails about presales despite repeatedly signing up to their list and their website remains the worst I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. If they haven't introduced a simple, easy to navigate My Account button and list of bookings, they never will. Always been there for me ref bookings..log in..scroll to bottom of page ..click on manage account..brings up recent bookings which can be clicked on to open up the booking.. if they don't go back far enough click on management options and then order history then you have the whole list...

I missed Beat The Devil so would be keen to see this. David Hare + Nicholas Hytner + Ralph Fiennes should be a winning trio on paper so was surprised by the reviews for the earlier production. Still, it sounds like an interesting topic and it'll be great to see the three working together. Does anyone know what the stage configuration will be? I can see first 2 previews are sold out already... Also, do we know whats happened to Southbury Child? Would've thought Alex Jennings would still be keen to work at the Bridge. Usual thrust stage. Interestingly the front two stalls rows aa bb are currently missing...Poss another reason first two nights are currently off sale..

Couple of boring questions regarding the current Olivier layout… - does anyone know if the £20 bench seats have a back? I don’t mind sharing a bench with someone I don’t know and no armrest, but I don’t think I’ll make it through without a backrest - I find the Globe cripplingly uncomfortable! - does anyone know why the seat plan is all multicoloured in a seemingly random way when you choose “select your own seats”? The colours seem to bear no correspondence to different price bands. Without clicking on each individual seat it’s nigh on impossible to know which seats cost what! Thanks! Yes..they had backs for Paradise...

Phenomenal return to the Prince Edward last night..Having seen the show many times ..This was the best yet..Zizi was a tour de force throughout and the electric audience went mad for it..Charlie was spot on too with a couple of nice ad libs thrown in..Kids were top notch..Will be returning to cherry tree Lane very soon at this rate... As a side note ..no covid checks of any kind on entry.... 10/10

Did you notice if there were any fridge magnets? I have moved on from mugs to magnets these days. Sorry but I don’t remember seeing any fridge magnets. It’s possible they had them & I just didn’t see because they’d probably be small enough for me to miss. But no, I didn’t see any I’m afraid. I'm at the matinee today if you want me to have a look...
