(I've no idea how to quote 2 posts so if someone can add david from a few posts previous in to this, or tell me how to, that'd be great) A sneaky thing that most people don't know about, which they really should change, is that you can type any numbered code into the till and the discount will always go through. So even if its an old card or a card without the drinks discount benefit, it will always work. Just read your post. Interesting comments from yourself @cheesey116 .I’ve got the new classic card so I was really surprised I got the drinks discount at the Duke of York’s a few weeks ago (TBH, I just chanced my arm with the discount as I was under the impression that the drinks thing had stopped with the new cards.). I tried it again on Monday at my local ATG venue, the Liverpool Empire and got the discount again. I’m not complaining, but just surprised that it’s still being allowed if it isn’t meant to be part of the new card. I work for the Glasgow ATG theatres and we've definitely been told that the new classic card doesn't include discount, although I've seen some people give it anyway as next to no-one is aware of the loss of the discount and it gets very awkward having to tell them. Its easier just to give them it by typing in a random number on the till, to avoid confrontation. Short term gain but in the long run the patron will wonder why sometimes they get it and sometimes they don't. The best way to solve this is to tell them up front in the renewal email they don't get the discount but then that will maybe stop people from renewing.

They can’t just stop the discount if people have paid for a year’s membership with that as one of the benefits. I’m assuming that the drink discount stops when your membership renews and your new card number will then reject at the till. This is confirmed adding more dates in 2020 with noticeable gaps in the schedule. I've heard from a few people that its playing Glasgow at some point and the Kings Theatre currently has a month gap in April where the show also has a gap... Does anyone have any credible info about upcoming venues ?

Please not Natalie McQueen. She would definitely have to cover all her tattoos for either role if she was chosen. I don't think her tattoos should stop her from being cast! Pretty sure they're easy enough to cover up! She got special make up to cover up the ones on her legs in Kinky Boots so it's definitely not an issue.

At Kinky Boots UK Tour in Glasgow last week, at the interval (what I assume to be heterosexual male to heterosexual male),'The one that did the splits is better looking than most of the girls in my office!'
If only he knew.

This definitely looks like a Britain's Got Talent performance to me, I can't see them cancelling for anything else.

I hope this will be good, Back to the Future is my all time favourite movie series. The 2nd film is my favourite one but I'm assuming this is just the 1st film ? I'm interested to see how they do the 80's scenes and then the 50's scenes soon after. I'll definitely be getting tickets for Manchester!

I'm hoping for a Benjamin Yates transfer, solely to see him on those Fiyero leggings.

This was one of my favourite films as a kid! Hopefully they can do it justice on the stage, especially on a stage like the Dominion.

if someone up in the gods approaches me saying they're scared of heights (the gallery/balcony in my work is extremely high and very steep If it's the first time they've been to that theatre then I don't blame them. I've booked upper circle seats, then looked online at audience pics of the vertiginous view and thought "no way!". In one recent case (I think it was True West) I asked if I could change my seat for a stalls seat and pay the extra (my gods seat was around £10, so an extra £30 for the £40 stalls) and, amazingly, they said no - I had to have both the stalls seat and the gods seat! I said forget it, and booked to see a different show at another, more reasonable theatre. To be honest if they kick up enough of a fuss and it involves a child or elderly person, they'll probably get moved for free especially if its quiet. But we are told to tell them that they may have to pay an upgrade fee, which usually makes them stay in their original seat.

In my work, if someone asks me to move along a row to be more central and its empty, I always allow it. But if someone up in the gods approaches me saying they're scared of heights (the gallery/balcony in my work is extremely high and very steep) and ask if they can move to a lower level, I always tell them yes but they'll need to pay for the difference in price of the seat. 9 times out of 10, they'll suddenly not want to move anymore!

You don't get the drinks discount with the classic version which has been causing a lot of drama in my work, as the vast majority of customers don't seem to be aware of the loss of the discount.

A lady has replied to Alfie's tweet saying that 'John Owen Jones isn't a patch on you' even though John is tagged in the tweet... she's asking for trouble!

At the moment, the Top 3 for me are Brooke Lynn, Akeria and either Yvie/Nina. Silky plays the exact same character every single week and I don't understand why Ru loves it so much. She is talented which I wont deny, but there's so little versatility and her personality is grating.

Kings Theatre Glasgow this afternoon during The Full Monty and the police having to get called due to 2 women swearing and screaming at the duty manager after getting asked to leave, as they were shouting at quiet moments and spilling their smuggled in drink everywhere. It's an un-miked play and people come expecting it to be Magic Mike.

I thought Nina should have won, Silky just played herself.
Brooke's runway presentation was outstanding, that should have saved her from the bottom 2 but then we wouldn't have got that lip sync, which will go down in history as one of the best there's been.

After the disappointment of the One Show, their Olivier performance was excellent and advertised the show very well.

Ariel had excellent make up and was very self aware of her brand but there just wasn't much there in terms of personality, and her last dress didn't fit to the theme at all... It was supposed to be a Sexy Monster and it was a mermaid. I fear she would have been going home anyway, even if she hadn't tripped and fell on her dress.

There's still a lot of tickets left for Bianca's first performance, I thought it would have sold out very quickly.

At my place of work, a theatre in Glasgow, a 175ml wine varies from £5.50-£8 and a 250ml from £8-£9. A bottle of water is £2.50! I think the prices are disgusting and I have to smile and keep my mouth shut when patrons complain about the price .

Genuine question, related to theatre actually, all the footage of them doling out the parts for the musical - is that all fake? Cos presumably they need to have the right costumes, wigs etc ready. That magnificent Oprah get-up was definitely specifically sized for Silky. The dishing out of the parts is real, the costumes are all made after parts are given out. The challenge from rehearsal to 'main stage performance' takes a couple of days so they can get the costumes re-sized fairly quickly. Since the move to VH1, their budget is massive.

Stalls tickets £90 in Edinburgh, this tour will make a fortune so no surprise they're touring it again.

Top five on first impressions only: Plastique Tiara, Silky Ganache, Honey Davenport, Ariel Versace and Mercedes Iman Diamond. Silky for the win. I agree with Silky, she's oozes charisma and I have a feeling will do well. I like Yvie Oddly as well, probably because I loved Sharon Needles and they share the creepy vibe. I have high hopes for Nina West who apparently is the pinnacle of drag where she comes from and is extremely talented. Scarlett Envy I think will be another Tammie Brown, weird and quirky but won't last long.

My work charges £5 for a booster seat and you get £4 back at the end if you show your receipt. They had to start doing it because, indeed, people kept taking the booster seats home. How do people get out of the theatre with a booster seat? It’s not like you can slip it in a handbag. You’d have to come prepared. They're inflatable so can be easily deflated and stuffed into a bag, it's more common than you'd think.
