I know this keeps being asked but I’ve not seen an answer, does anyone know when cast change is please? I don't think it's been formally confirmed, but everyone reckons 24th November.

As an aside, I wonder if there's a world record for Highest Percentage of Daniels in an On-Line Community. there is. Here

I can understand their policy to be honest. Those single male musical theatre fans can be an absolute nightmare. Picking fights with anyone who says anything bad about Patti! sounds just like danieljohnson14!

Having heard 'She Used To Be Mine' twice this week (Jeremy Jordan and Louise Dearman) I'm reminded of how lovely a song it is. I'm looking forward to hearing Jane McDonald sing it when she opens the show soon. "Ooh it's a long way from Wakefield 'ere in the bakery"

Unless plans have drastically changed, Mean Girls isn't following Dreamgirls into the Savoy. At some point further down the line, maybe, but not this season. Does the term "season" apply in London? I don't think it does. meh, probably not, but I like it so I use it!

Yes, it wouldn't surprise me if the people immediately in front and behind them are Royal Protection Officers. Surprisingly, from what I could see they were in the first row with a middle aisle in the RC. Everyone had to be seated before they entered for both acts. There were officers standing either side of row A of the RC and either side of Row A stalls. thinking about it, that makes logistical sense. If they want all other patrons sat before they enter, it's either sit there or sit on the end of a row, which wouldn't give them the best possible view.

Was at yesterdays matinee. Nikki Bentley -Elphaba Charli Bapti -Glinda Hannah Cadec -Nessarose All 3 of them were amazing. Slight incident during One Short Day...Nikki and Charli were singing off stage and didnt come back on stage until "oh the night life, the hustle and bustle" Very well recovered. that is normal protocol when the quick change at the start of One Short Day isn't quite quick enough

9 to 5 is a thing. Officer and a Gent still just a rumour, but one I could certainly see coming to fruition.

Will Zizi Strallen go back to the NT for Follies then? or perhaps Poppins if that rumour turns out to be true?

Joanna Ampil to play Jenna in the MANILA production. November 9- December 2 No news on the West End one yet. interesting. I wonder if the Manila production will be technically pre-West End, at least in terms of set/ensemble casting.

Last I heard Louise Dearman was in talks for the Beverley part, but don’t know if it’s still going ahead I think she would be utterly fantastic. Would love this to come to fruition!

This will never be the last ever tour. Maybe the last run of this tour maybe, and the next one will be scaled down? Oh I agree, and it would also be stupid of the producers to rule out a future tour. I wonder if it's just marketing speak, a bit like a farewell tour that doesn't end up being so.

Mary Poppins will now be opening at its original home- the Prince Edward. What a waste of a big theatre. Ho hum. Is it really or is there just an open discussion and no definate venue. Because surely you would know before the announcement of the change with the Adelphi?? to be fair, it can be "definite" and still change. It's a bit of a roundabout until the dotted line is signed.

What if this is the announcement Rachel Tucker was talking about... *intense fangirling* she was auditioned for it a year or so ago! I don't know what ever came of that, but she was certainly on the producers' minds at some point in the process.

It is being released by Trafalgar Releasing? I would expect so, given that it's a Howard Panter production.

I do wonder what they'll do for Snow White! Could be anything I suppose as they aren't always related to the plot. I’m sure the Palladium Effect will stay true to the plot, like they’ve done in previous years (Flying Carriage, Fariy, Rat and London Bus)! This year I’m guessing a dragon? Maybe? I’m guessing the Dwarfs house will be a huge set piece? Maybe like the house in Mary Poppins? Assuming this is going to be the same base Snow White that Qdos have used before (I saw it in Birmingham 2013/14), there is a large piece of set for the dwarf's house, and the wicked queen has a flying dragon. Of course, this one could be completely different!

This is really exciting. I can't recall the last time Blood Brothers toured without some kind of star casting. Really can't wait to see what Linzi does with the part, I think she's going to be great.
Also looking forward to seeing Robbie Scotcher again. I think[/] he was the Narrator when I first saw the show back in 2008, and I just remember thinking he was fantastic.
Wimbledon for me!

I'm considering getting a tattoo of a microwave, so I always remember the best gift Rachel ever received at Stage Door ❤

This is just hear say, but I’m hearing about plans for future Mamma Mia and Joseph tours reaching the Birmingham Hippodrome, as well as discussions of another Hairspray tour in a few years Is that the Kenwright tour of Joseph or a different production.
I believe it's the Kenwright tour. *sobs*

I’m trying to figure out if the Alice & Sophie generation are as extreme as the Willemijn & Suzie fans. Will there be glow sticks during their last For Good? Will they cheer so loud over the last DG that you can barely hear Alice? Time will tell. Many of Wil's fans travelled in regularly from abroad. Would many of us travel abroad to see our favourite witches? I doubt it. I would...if only the microwave would fit in my hand luggage.

Thinking of getting a T-shirt that says "statistically speaking, it is very unlikely that the one Elphaba you've seen is objectively the best ever to play the role, so please stop saying that as it'll make you look very silly when the next cast comes along and you forget about them in favour of someone else". Can't see any possible backlash I’m trying to figure out if the Alice & Sophie generation are as extreme as the Willemijn & Suzie fans. Will there be glow sticks during their last For Good? Will they cheer so loud over the last DG that you can barely hear Alice? Time will tell. yes. They'll also, within about 5 seconds of the new cast starting, forget all about Alice and co, and declare their love for the new Elphaba, who will no doubt be the best thing since sliced bread.

Seeing the matinee today, very excited!u I too was at yesterdays matinee and, quite simply, was not only blow away but genuinely moved by this. A more detailed review to follow later but wow! I wasn't't expecting that. Outsanding! false alarm, I was that person who rocks up a week early!! Never been more embarrassed in my life...

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed this tonight. I haven't seen any production of Little Shop before (or OAT's Ragtime) so I have nothing to compare against, but I thought it was brilliant!
I thought the whole cast were strong, including Matt Willis. I liked how they did the plant, though I believe in the past the plant hasn't been human? Vocals were strong across the board and there was such energy!
I thought the set worked fine - again I had no prior knowledge of the show so can't comment in relation to previous productions.
We did have a show stop towards the end of Act I for 10 or so minutes due to a medical emergency, but this was swiftly dealt with and the show resumed.
All in all, a really fun night! I've always wanted to see Little Shop and I feel like this was a brilliant first version to see.
Four stars from me
