Just an FYI, the front row lottery on TodayTix has gone from £15 to £20. Could've sworn it was £15 when I entered yesterday but I am relatively new to TodayTix so is this something they do when demand is high or it's the 'holidays' or is this now a permanent change do we reckon? I would imagine it's permanent, and I'm not surprised to be honest. Most Rush/Lottery seem to be around the £20 mark, which I think is still a reasonable price! I'm not sure when the change happen, but I noticed that it was £20 when I entered yesterday.

According to WOS this is the No 1 top selling show in London. Really? Just read the article - seems hard to believe. I wonder if it could be the top shows sold through their ticket shop? Because sales figures aren't published by individual shows so there's no way they could know anyway. Given that Lion King all but sells out every single performance that they do, in one of the West End's biggest theatres and some of the West End's highest prices...I find it hard to believe it would be anything other than number 1, never mind out of the top 10 altogether.

Interesting...very interesting. This would be awesome if true. As I'm sure you're all equally aware, it has now been almost 7 years 5 months since we had a truly "new to Wicked" Elphaba, so I remain sceptical, but would love it to be true. That said, I've got a bulk order of Nutella on standby just in case it's Jax

Can't believe what they're charging for this! Rehearsals must've started now if it's going to open at the start of September...if there's no "names" it's definitely not going to sell. £53 for top tickets in Manchester, people just aren't going to be willing to take a punt on a show they've never heard of for that sort of money.

I think it will still go ahead. For the same reason that he always seems able to continue producing shows every time one goes under. Each show that he produces (and for the industry in general) is a whole separate company, a legal entity in its own right. For example something like Wonderland UK Tour Ltd or Bring It On 2017 Ltd. Whilst all of these companies will be under the umbrella of Neil Eckersley/Speculation, what this enables him to do is separate his liabilities, so if one production runs out of money and collapses, the other productions and the parent company/companies aren't liable for those losses/debts and don't have to pay them. Hence why he's able to just get up again and produce another show, as a "new" company. Obviously it's not a solid business model as all of the investment is lost, but there's no further loss to the rest of the company. Just to reiterate, I'm only using Speckulation as an example, the same basic theory applies to businesses right across our sector and beyond. Also I'm not a legal expert so if I've made any slight inaccuracies in what I've said, feel free to correct me I won't be offended

Any reviews on Karen? Has she been doing all the shows? Amber was back from Thursday so her holiday dates must have changed!

I hadn't noticed that they'd lowered it, but in any case lowering it is changing it. I would imagine that Kenwright would've had to seek permission from RUG before making any changes. I don't think it's massively uncommon for scores to be lowered when the lead can't sing them as written - I think Sister Act adjusted the keys for Alexandra Burke?

Every lead Elphaba on the tour so far has been a previous standby. May be nothing more than a coincidence, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get someone with previous Elphie experience.

So it's the final stop of the tour for the next two weeks in Manchester. Anyone going? I wonder if this is the last we'll see of this production or if it will get resurrected in some form. And what now for Sheridan? I'll be there on Monday, looking forward to finally seeing Sheridan. I must be in the minority to have seen the show both in London and on tour and haven't seen either Sheridan or Natasha!

short answer - yes. Long answer - when someone returns tickets that they can no longer use, they get added to the website for resale. If you happen to be online at that specific moment, happy days! Also, when the initial batch of tickets went on sale, the final plans for the auditorium refurbishment were seemingly not finalised, so there may be additional seats released at some point. As to when, is anybody's guess! Thank you for your answer! Is there any way to see ticket availability without having to click on every single performance? That'd save a lot of time. Sadly I don't think there is, it's a right pain in the Arsenal...however it might be worth giving Ticketmaster's call centre a call, they might have a faster way of seeing general availability across multiple dates?

I saw the show on Broadway but would love to see it in London as well. Is there any chance of canceled tickets popping up again? Ticketmaster doesn't tell... short answer - yes. Miss Saigon I have seen Joreen on as Kim twice she was fab. I am holding out that one of the 4 shows I have left Vinny will be on as Chris. Vinny is on tonight - are you there? Shaq was also on as Javert last night, don't know if you went?

Full casting announced.
Joining the previously announced Diana Vickers, Debra Stephenson and Ian Reddington will be Michael Howe, Michelle Long, Kate Hardisty, Cassiopeia Berkeley-Agyepong, Lewis Kidd, Liam Vincent-Kilbride, Jon Bonner, Rachael McAllister, Ellie-Jane Goddard, Gary Mitchinson and Jess Barker.
Also, perhaps unsurprisingly given Craig Revel-Horwood's involvement, it's going to be actor-muso.

Nobody is in trouble, it is just that a press release was sent out too soon and withdrawn.
Please respect this board by not re-posting anything for the time being, and save moderators the time having to remove it. thank you all. Oopsie! Thanks for the clarification

So they can sell you their overpriced items inside. No other rational reason for it. They would probably say 'security' but unless someone develops a bomb disguised as a cheese sandwich that would seem questionable. Are they even allowed to stop people taking in drinking water in as long as it's in a plastic bottle? I thought there was some sort of law about drinking water, but may have imagined it. Precisely. I could even accept the "you might have alcohol" argument if open bottles were banned. I can't see any genuine reason why an unopened bottle of water should be banned. It also infuriated me how every single bag had to go to the cloakroom...again, in the name of security but what's the purpose of this? If you've done a thorough enough bag search and are happy that there's nothing untoward inside the bag, why insist on it going in the cloakroom? All it does is force me to queue for 10 minutes to get it back after the show because there's only one member of staff there, and piss me off a great amount. On the drinking water front, they have tap water readily available in big jugs so that probably covers that argument, still beside the point though.

What's the reason the security on the door are saying no food or drink allowed in? Saw them taking lots of bottles and food off people the other day. Luckily they weren't thorough enough with my bag to notice my water and snacks! So they can sell you their overpriced items inside. No other rational reason for it.

Hearing of couple of the International Tour ensemble signing on to do the UK tour, so I assume the whole ensemble have been offered it, in the same way that the first UK tour ensemble were offered the international gig.

I would put forward Jocasta Almgill. I wouldn't say she was better than the principals in In The Heights but she was generally just as good and she covered a lot of roles. (I didn't see her cover all the roles.) Now she's in Dreamgirls and I saw her as Lorell and she was definitely my favourite in the band. (I've never seen either of the principals play that role.) Of course, how could I forget Jocasta!! *runs to edit post*
