I'm still hoping for Maria Friedman but who knows if we'll even find out before the night at this rate!

I also saw Josie in The Beautiful Game - where did the time go?! It was great to see her again in Jamie - she still has a powerful voice and is perfectly cast as his Mum.

I know Ria has been around for years - I've seen her in many shows! She always gives a great performance - my point was that her Norma is even better than I was expecting based on past performances and I know she has referred to how much she learnt from her experience with Sunset last year and watching Close work. Apologies if this wasn't clear in original post.

Ouch. I thought Ria makes a fantastic Norma and sings the score as it should be sung. The acting in the final scene was mesmerising too. I think she has developed so much as an actress since working with Close. I'm seeing Sunset for a second time later in the tour as I enjoyed Ria so much.

I booked for Miss Littlewood - a great booking experience, no technical glitches. I looked at Macbeth but high ticket prices put me off - for now at least.

Ah yes, I saw the Stefan Booth tour. And I have the Darren Day VHS! Hope I get to see it - I remember it being fun and there are some catchy tunes.

I'd love them to do a revival of Jerry Herman's Mame in the main house. A Sondheim would also be fabulous - A Little Night Music maybe.

I saw Crazy For You last week and absolutely loved it! I'm not usually a great fan of actor musician productions but this one is really inventive and the instruments were an integral part of the staging and added a lot to the production as a whole. I saw the Prince Edward production back in the day and liked this new one as much, albeit for different reasons. The new staging within the theatre they are trying to save is really effective and the performances and story really in focus. Tom Chambers is born to play the role and Charlotte Wakefield is feisty and fun as Polly. Caroline Flack is the weak link but doesn't get much stage time. The Gershwin songs are top notch - who could ask for anything more?!! Do give it a try as you may be pleasantly surprised. I certainly was!

Finally saw Sixpence this afternoon - glad I caught it as it's so uplifting and Charlie is a delight. Don't think Jane How was on, but other principals all there. Catch it while you can folks.

Are the stage seats restricted view? I'm worried now as from the production pics it looks as if you have a good view of Audra's back...

Someone please cast Caroline Sheen as Kelli's alternate - she'd be a great Anna! I remember Claire Moore and Elaine Paige in this at the Palladium!
