Love this topic, only just read it!
I have a Word file (I don’t do spreadsheets!) with lists of shows per year, including date, show, venue, star (if appropriate, useful for tracking favourite artistes) and programme/souvenir brochure (useful for knowing what to look for in my extensive collection!). I also keep tickets but don’t keep a record of price - I could have a bigger house but not such good show memories! I wish I had noted who I went with as memory is fading for some shows 20+ years ago!
Tickets are kept in date order in a safe place - I have only had one unfortunate incident when turning up to a local box office to collect tickets for a sell out show to realise that I hadn’t actually bought them in the first place (oops), but fortunately it wasn’t a must see anyway. I’ve since been more careful...

Does anyone know if Ruthie Henshall has any holiday dates booked in at all? Couldn't find anything on the website or ATG. Ruthie is appearing in a cruise 19-26 May, a long-standing booking. Wish they’d put holiday dates on the website - I’d love to see Ruthie in this again as she was so good!

ANYTHING by Jerry Herman but particularly Mame The Grand Tour The latter was given an excellent, small scale production at The Finborough a few years ago but I'd love to see it with higher production values. Yes!! Would love to see Mame, and agree that that production of The Grand Tour (with Alastair Brookshaw) was fantastic.

How comfortable are those seats? It was a long sit in the comfy seats last time!

Oh yes, I was there! I remember seeing it and still have the programme featured in the article linked above. It was absolutely huge at the time to see the stars from Oz in my local theatre!

Met her at a concert back in the day and she was absolutely charming. Haven’t heard of her in anything for a while now though.

Anita and Kenny are about to do a short UK tour with Jimmy Tarbuck and Jessica Martin in a show called Swing With Laughter. Shame Su isn’t involved.

I'm also loving this programme. ITV3 are showing the actual show 10-11.30pm straight after next episode on Tuesday.
I saw Su Pollard in Babes in Arms in the mid 1980s. She was staying nearby and I bumped into her in the street - she was an absolute delight! Great singer too.

Are these dates in April the last for the UK tour? I believe the tour finishes in Sheffield on 28 April. Well worth checking out if you haven't been yet!

What about Ria Jones who has already done the role to acclaim in Paris. Her run in Sunset ends at the end of the month.

I remember the original broadcast. Will be lovely to hear Claire Moore as Sarah again (she's still soooo good!), and Anita Dobson was hilarious as Adelaide.

It's ironic really as many of the male stars attending don't conform to this at all. I'm going and will probably be wearing a black tie of some sort but not the full penguin suit!!

Distant memories of Andrew O'Connor (whatever happened to him?!) in the 1994 tour, alongside Rebecca Thornhill who I've seen in many shows since. Can't remember how much comic 'business' he did though.

I too was there Thursday night and enjoyed it, on the whole, although the sound issues were particularly bad in the first half. It's always a pleasure to hear Claire Moore sing and I'd forgotten how good a singer Julian Ovenden is too. Rebecca Trehearn is definitely one to watch - always a strong performance in whatever she's in.

Is there a link to the seating plan? I bought £10 seats through Young Vic but can't see any ticket numbers on my account. Anyone know where £10 seats are located?

Noooooo! Keep them! I find my collection reminds me of the whole evening and not just the show - who I was with,if show was part of a trip or local, and what I was doing at the time etc. Wish I had more time to look at them more often and remind myself who was in what show. The collection is in need of a bigger house now but I'll keep going!!

It's on I player - I've downloaded it having listened to a bit live earlier. Lots of rich archive stuff with Maria linking it and giving background.
