Good luck to those trying to attend - I see there is a Heat Advisory. And, now, it is the King's Birthday parade the same day? I will anxiously await the uploads to YouTube and Twitter/Instagram We call it Trooping The Colour which sounds even odder than Kings Birthday Parade.

Can Denise Welsh do other accents apart from her natural geordie? If not its going to be interesting. Not a fan of the venue as its far to big for this type of thing. Even if it's discounted I'm not going to bother with this.

They're Playing Our Song — after my Bond concert last night I felt like a bit of Marvin Hamlisch. Gemma Craven sounds fab, but nothing like she does in The Slipper and The Rose! I had to check it was the same Gemma Craven. I remember seeing this at the Menier years ago with Connie Fisher (after her role as Maria in Sound of Music). Apart from the title song, which I knew anyway, I can't remember any of the songs. Maybe time to revisit the recording.

I had a listen this afternoon to the music. Couple of decent songs but not enough to convince me to go an see it. Whereas listening to Shucked I know I'm going to enjoy it.

Ive got a couple of tickets for the first performance in the dress circle. I also too the "Sunset Package" which seemed amazing value for money. It was £25 for the package which included 2 cocktails, ice cream, nibbles and a programme". Thanks so much for posting about this. I hastily skipped the 'add package' screen earlier, so didn't scroll through the list and see it. I've just contacted ATG and have been able to add it to my order. It does feel like really good value, especially from ATG! I know. I reread the description a couple of times thinking it was per person but it's not. Even my e ticket confirms it. Bargain of the year.

I really enjoyed it. Watched it all over 2 nights which I seldom do with TV series.

Longer wait than I expected based on the small number of people in front of me.

I'd say about £150-£160 for premium prices Isn't that the same amount as the Close version which was what 7 years ago? I don't remember but that version had a big orchestra, cast and a proper star and this will probably be 3 singers and a tin Whistle if its usual Jamie Lloyd fodder.

Any idea of pricing on this, I feel like a giggle? I’m thinking £200 top price regular with hospitality on top? I can't see it being that much. I'd say about £150-£160 for premium prices with stalls and dress circle about £80 and maybe a few upper circle seats at the back or restricted view for about £35. Let's see how wrong I am!

Usually they send the link out around an hour or so before the sale goes live. Or 15 minutes after 10am to put you in a panic, which is usually what happens with me.

Wiltons is a much bigger venue than Union so will bring in a lot more revenue and on Saturday afternoon it was nearly full so I'm sure the cast are being paid. Although not everyone may have paid for those tickets. When I booked several months ago I didn't have a lot of choice seat wise so I don't believe the performance was ..... (misses out the banned word).

Enjoyable afternoon at Wilton's to see The Mikado. I love the venue and even though they don't have air-con the walls of the building are so thick that it wasn't too hot inside. It was up to the normal high standard, quite a few familiar faces but a lot of new talent there especially in the chorus. It was great fun as always and very funny. My only negative comment is that it was set in a 1950s boys school who seemed to be on a camping trip. However it just didn't make any sense as after the first song where the words had been changed it was clearly the "normal" Mikado for the rest of the show and no reference to a boys school so it really didn't make any sense at all. Some character names changes like Katisha was Kitty Shaw. It didn't spoil me enjoying it at all. They have new seats from when I was last there but they are still slight "bum numbing" and the front row (where we sat) had no leg room at all. Iv'e sat front row before and its not been a problem. I knew I wouldn't last 5 minutes not being able to keep my leg fairly straight so a lovely lady at the end of the row kindly swapped. The only problem was that I was now directly behind the piano and so had difficulty in hearing the singing as the piano was so loud, but again, didn't really spoil it for me.

Any thoughts on stage height at the Savoy? I know some previous productions have had high stages but would you guys agree this one is unlikely too if it’s a basic set? Last thing I saw there from the front row was Dreamgirls and the stage was really high. Had terrible neck ache after.

This should be good as I've only ever seen Linzi in Joseph.

Excellent production. Beautifully sung and acted. Would have preferred one balladeer. Loved the set. I thought the set and staging was very good. They were whipping up the audience before the start which gave it a certain feel How do you whip up the average Chichester audience? Or do you mean "wake up"? 😀

Everyone has mentioned the amazing sets for the Adelphi production. I saw it with Betty Buckley and also Elaine Paige and my memory is not what it was. I remember a sweeping staircase but that's about it. Was there a swimming pool too or have i made that up?

I loved this at Chichester and love Jenna Russell. Hammersmith is a bit of a trek for me, but hopefully will be worth it.

Just had an e mail from LW Theatres to sign up for early access to tickets. Seeing as it's an ATG theatre seems a bit odd. Guess it's because an ALW musical. Wonder if they will have a separate allocation of tickets.

Is this closing? Only booking until early October. No but they only release a few months tickets at a time to create a hype. Similar with Hamilton

I'd heard of the show via social media but didn't know much about. So just listening to the music. Really enjoying it. Nice tunes and it sounds great fun. I'm definitely going to see it.

I love La Cage but this is all sounding like a car crash. I really don't know any of todays drag queens, my knowledge ends at Lily Savage, Danny La Rue and Masie Trolette. I want to see a non drag queen actor play a drag queen not a drag queen playing a drag queen.

How long does it take to get to the theatre from St Pancras by tube? Google maps is telling me about half hour, does that seem about right? You will need to go to King's Cross which is next door and take Metropolitan Line to Wembley Park.

Some good names added especially Damian Humbley and Bradley Jaden. I was hoping Rob Houchen would also be there but maybe he is up to other things.
