Further to the comments upthread, does it count as immersive if your seat kept shaking during I Got Rhythem? I was sat front row so I assume that doesn't happen when sat further from the stage. I enjoyed the production but I didn't love it as I did the Regent's Park production. Charlie Stemp is certainly the stand out. It's a pity he wasn't born a few decades earlier, when there were far more shows around suited to his talents. I remember the Fodors being somewhat annoying but not nearly as annoying as in this production, where I found them almost unbearable. They also seem to have changed from being siblings to a married couple. I've sat in row E and row F and the floor bounces there too during the tap routines. I loved it.

I've been to a few very good concerts including Songs for a New World, Dr zhivago and Bonnie & Clyde. They were really well done. But I've seen a few, for example Sweet Charity at Cadogan Hall which was clearly under rehearsed and cast reading from scripts. The ones I've seen produced by Fourth Wall seem to be very good.

Wolf: well, after epi 1 this looks original and completely bonkers - fast-paced and quirky, though in a manageable way so far. Serval stagey people to recognise, inc. Juliet Stephenson, him off Game of Thrones and him also off Game of Thrones: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/p0frxgnv/wolfJust watched episode 1 and it's bonkers. Not a clue what's going on. The trailer for episode 2 at the end was even madder. Saying that I'm enjoying it.

Can we all agree that Dev is the worst actor on Corrie by a mile? Those stupid voices and accents and his attempt to be funny. Thank god Maureen Lipman is back in a couple of weeks time.

I'd happily see Crazy for You once a fortnight and then possibly be able to tolerate my work colleague for the 2 weeks before I lose my sanity and see it again.

Does anyone remember a time a little while back where there was talk of trying to put this show on yet despite open casting calls they couldn't find enough male dancers? Personally I think that was a bit of an unfounded rumour. I've often heard that as an excuse but it's rubbish as we have plenty of great young dancers which has been proven with 42nd Street and now Newsies.

I'd have loved to have been there but probably would have cried through most of it as I did for the last performance of 42nd Street. I was lucky to see it 4 times including one of the first previews and the original last night which ended up just being last night for some of the cast due to the extensions. It really was a joy to watch even with the trek to Wembley and I look forward to it's return somewhere next year.

And they could sell some of those bargain pick axe's. $1 at the start and down to 25c by end of Act 1.

Maybe none of the cast were any good at dodgy French accents so they have stuck to their own. Or we would be having comments about the terrible French accents.

My next door neighbour was telling me today he was trying to book for Jan/Feb of next year and said there were only a few seats showing for every single performance. I thought this was a bit odd so just looked myself and it's true. I've tried ATG and Operation Mincemeat website and it's the same. Anyone have any ideas what's going on?

Got plenty of gang members where I live but I'm not sure what their acting and singing is like.

Thought this was a well written article and I very much agree with a lot of it especially the mention of Crazy For You not doing well and the section about artistic directors.

I saw this at Southwark Playhouse years ago. Don't remember much about it but think it was a bit bonkers.
I also think that Jordan is a talented performer but he seems to be in everything these days but I'm sure his fans will.be happy.

I much preferred Roger Allam to Doug Hodge. The less said about Graham Norton the better… And did anyone see Barrowman?

The word is that it’s one of if not _the_ biggest advance for any Regents Park show ever. Which slightly surprises me given it’s not *that* long since it was done in London and it’s not the most well known musical. I know a lot of people know American film The Birdcage but it’s not a film of the musical itself - apart from I Am What I Am I doubt many non-MT people could name another song. And especially after last year feels like they put a lot of people off coming back (When I asked if someone fancied it they responded “Oh but everything there is so s**t! Did you see Legally Blonde and the terrible 101 Dalmatians?!”) Good for them all the same and I hope it’s a hit. Longer than you think. It was 2008 so 15 years ago since it was at The Playhouse Theatre which transferred from the Menier.

Rob Houchen last night in Aspects of love He posted a picture last night with some of the cast after the performance. I think Alex Parker was also in the pic so he would have also been in the audience.

I know Merrily We Roll Along which was at the Comedy Theatre (now Harold Pinter) used to claim to have had more 5 star reviews than any west end musical ever so maybe this has taken away its crown. And that ended up hugely papering by the end of its run... Which just shows that rave reviews do not guarantee financial success. Crazy For You is another example.

Next stop - Olivier Awards? Might get to see it again then, depending on the prices. I did love it, so would be happy to go back. Is it really the best reviewed show in West End history?! I know Merrily We Roll Along which was at the Comedy Theatre (now Harold Pinter) used to claim to have had more 5 star reviews than any west end musical ever so maybe this has taken away its crown.

I have been keen to see this for a while but was also considering taking my 5 year old daughter. The website says no under 4's but I wonder if someone that's seen it could say whether it's suitable for young kids. She loves dance and sat through an amateur dance production for a couple of hours completely transfixed, so I thought it might be nice for her to see a big production. Thanks! Both times I've seen it there were quite young children there sitting near me and they loved it. It moves along very fast so they won't get a chance to get bored. One child on Thursday has such an infectious laugh and giggled all the way through much to our amusement.

To be honest as long as they aren't 10 years old and can sing and act I don't really care about age differences.

A technical question that I'm hoping someone can help with. I noticed that Charlie Stemp has what looks like a hearing aid behind his right ear. I'm guessing this is some kind of radio mic as you can see a little mic under his ear. None of the other cast have this so just wondering if I am right. I'm guessing he can't wear the usual mic which goes up their back and through their hair due to the quick costume changes and the wig changes.

The gays love a bit of tap and, to be honest, the musical is very cheesy and camp.

I'm tempted to book for one of the days when Charlie is on holiday as it would be really interesting to see how his understudy tackles the role.

And the cast just performed "We're in the money. I know I'm biased but it's pretty p**s poor compared with Drury Lane. No offence to the cast. Guess I was just spoilt with Drury Lane production.

Samantha Womak and Faye Tozier are on This Morning talking about the show. Alison Hammond said she thoughts the tap was "sound effects". Sorry but this woman is a total embarrassment and an idiot.
