This is one of my favourite shows and I'm excited, but I personally don't see Sam as Cathy - I hope she proves me wrong!

Very amusing/appropriate as in last night's episode of The Windsors, Jessamy appeared as a certain witch!

I've just seen on the Curve website that they have got a new Serena now - Sophie Camble. It seems like she's been doing it since the end of April at least.

The festival website lists some of the cast, which includes Dan Burton as Riff. I've only just seen that Karen Olivo is playing Anita and now I'm even more disappointed I won't be able to see this production.

That's incredibly professional. Which one did the rap in Bend and Snap? I don't know if this is how they've handled it in the show, but at a performance they did at the Highcross yesterday, it was shared between Margot and Pilar.

Most recently, David Bedella for In the Heights. I was surprised when he received the Olivier nomination, and genuinely couldn't believe it when he won. It's not that he does anything 'wrong' in the role, it's just not an award-worthy role at all.

It's not announced, the list only details those shows that have been officially announced at a specific venue. But when it is announced will there be enough time to get the requisite number of performances in? I thought Beautiful last year and Mrs Henderson Presents this year proved that you don't need to have done the requisite number of performances before the cut off date, you just have to be scheduled to do at least that number

Michelle Pentecost is on as emergency s/b Elphaba for both shows today. Due to ensemble shortages, Laura Emmitt is doing a double track, so they brought Michelle back in case Emma went off ill today. Anyone can provide some insight on how that works? Is there a list of former Elphabas they call one at a time until they find someone who is available and Michelle was the first to actually be? Are former Elphabas still familiar with all the dialogue and the songs and dance moves (not that Elphaba has to dance that much, just in general)? Michelle was "only" an understudy, so she didn't even perform that often and it must be even harder for her. I would have thought they'd preferably ask standby or even main Elphies back in such cases. Also, are the costumes still in storage, or do they take one that's currently available and fits the best? Lastly, is Natalie M off sick, or also on vacation? She's sick

The random woman who joined two of the cast at the awards announcement today has said that a life after the West End is being planned. That 'random woman' is Natasha Jayetileke who plays Mrs Bhamra

What I find odd is the first cover is in the cast, so why use the second cover for final performances? Judging by her Twitter, Claire Parrish is probably not well enough

They started filming some time last week and are apparently filming up until close - that's a lot of filming!

Are we sure about that? Seeing this tonight. I know nothing! Exciting! I believe eligibility ends on 16th Feb and they need 30 performances. Do previews even count as performances where awards are concerned? The way they word it is quite confusing - they don't need to have done 30 performances before the cut off date, they just need to be scheduled to do at least 30 performances. It was the same thing with Beautiful last year.

I thought it was a beautiful piece of theatre, performed wonderfully by Jamie Muscato - I really hope there is life for it after Vault Festival
