Actually neither Stemp or Yarrow are conventional leading men. Stemp is basically a dancer and Yarrow very young. In fact I would think neither one would work with Beverly age wise. But its Julian's panto so no matter. I don't mean that they'd be playing opposite Beverly Knight per se, as it seems she is taking on a sort of "fairy godmother" role, I just meant that they are fairly big names now in terms of London musical theatre, perhaps bigger names than the young "princess" types who may also be on board for this production. The "princess" girls may not be well known enough to have been announced initially but will still be very much present in the cast. Although for a panto I'd call both Stemp and Yarrow perfectly conventional leading men incidentally. Certainly just as, if not more conventional than the boyband/soapstar types playing leads in Panto up and down the country. Not to mention the fact that they are/were both the leading men of their respective West End shows. I mean she could play a fairy godmother to them as they already have a wicked witch. But I do not think she could be a love interest to Jaq or Charlie and she will sing both of them off the stage. My opinion,

I was supposed to see this show back in April in Manchester. But I'm glad its coming to London next year. Will definitely make my postponed London/Paris trip next August since I booked my tickets for that August. I'm from Miami and it'll be my first time in London. I definitely want to experience the Indian cuisine in London since 2nd to India the UK is the top place for Indian cuisine. Any suggestions on where I can get Indian food? Doesn't have to be close to the Adelphi. It may be a bit early but there is a very nice Indian Restaurant near the Adelphi on Bedford Street. I have eaten there many times and convenient to the theare. strandtandoor.co.uk/

This is the movie which I did not like. Since when is it a crime for someone to mourn their husband or wife for a year or more. And of all people their son to try and set him up. Hated the concept of the movie.

A female who has won 2 Tony awards. They needed a great Broadway actress on the days Bette took off.

I have read about that theory about Sandy. Especially since at the end the car flyies up in the air.

I originally saw the show back in 2014 and I was not a big fan. Would anyone recommend giving the show a second try? Since its been running since 1986 I think a few people have seen it more than once.

Molasses to Rum sung by the great, even if only in this one instance, John Cullom sends shivers down your spine. It was supposed to be revived next year. Now I am not so sure. It was being revived with an all female cast too. Molasses To Rum will sound very different with a female voice. Oh, I did not know that. Leave it alone, it should be all male.

Catherine Zeta Jones would tick all the boxes.

A question when a trans man wins in the women's olympics is it fair? He still has not given up his muscles or height, etc. They used to disqualify "women" for taking hormone shots now its perfectly all right.

For my education how many trans actors are currently in the UK. Not gay, not LBGQT specifically trans.
Do they go about saying they are trans??

The only thing that could improve the brillaint original, would be to have Alfie Boe as the Phantom. Just NO.

Its like these actors go from one Cam Mac show to another. Or really just LM and Phantom, just different parts. Cam certainly has his favorites. I really thought David Thaxton was going to get the tour or the WE but I guess not enough of a favorite. But really even he would be going LM to Phantom as he has in the past. I am not that big of a Killian fan but its not me that has to be.

but like, we've all seen the bootleg right? There is a whole world out there that have not seen it. Though that certainly seems steep for a show filmed on the stage.

Ah Paint Never Dries coming back. I saw all the reincarnations and hated them all. I remember the first one trying to keep awake. At the interval you could hear everyone saying how bad it was. Were you in the production, or paid to keep going? Or just needed the sleep? Like an idiot I kept thinking it would improve. It did not. Just stupid.

I also hated the whole concept that Christine was in love with the Phantom all along and that her son was really his. The only song for me of any entertainment was Devil Take the Hindmost.
Have them follow one another at a theatre that would be fun. One day Phantom one day PND.

Pleased with the cast (and relieved it's not Lee Mead lol). They just need a decent marketing push for Manchester now! don’t jinx it- they’ve still yet to announce Killian’s replacement in Edinburgh! lol I quite would have loved to see Lee Mead. I have been to his concerts and he is wonderful and doesa heck of a Music of the Night. He has grown into a wonderful performer. I am tired to seeing Killian in all the time. That is why I stopped seeing him lol.

Oscars

I haven’t seen all the nominated movies yet, but pleased to see Brad Pitt nominated for an acting oscar, along with Renee for Judy. Deserving wins imo. I’m not sure I can see Joker sweeping the board. It was a good film but I’m not sure it was exceptional. Nice to see De Niro in two movies nominated for best picture too, along with Netflix getting in there too with multiple movies for best picture. I haven’t seen it yet, but I can see Sam Mendes getting the director award if it’s as technically complex as I’m hearing. I think it might be Laura Dern’s then too (she’s out out some brilliant work over the last few years) along with Brad’s.... but by god, that best supporting actor category is going to be tough for any of them to win! It’s basically acting royalty right there. I am thrilled De Niro did not get nominated for that hunch backed boring role he portrayed. He is an idiot. I also found the movie about an hour and a half too long. Actually I did not like it at all.

No way can Glenn Close open a movie. Even in her youth she was never the "star" of a movie. And unless they use the anti aging technology the camera will not be her friend. It would need a "name" for Joe Gilles to have half a chance. Especially off the Cats fiasco.

That publicity photo does not in any way say Pretty Woman and really they do not match. The red dress is missing. This does not entice me to see it.

I believe the Broadway casting of Sam Barks and Andy Karl contributed to its success. Sam is very well known as is Andy. While Aimee may be around for a while I do not think she is the draw. And the Pretty Woman is the draw.

Are there different prices for JOJ shows?
For Hello Dolly on Broadway there were for Bette's alternate.
