Well said, robertb 213... Btw some good deals cropping up on TT for what is after all the best thing in the WE by a country mile.... I would sooner sit through The Lion King again than this. I do get that some people like this but this show is like marmite. It is the only show I've seen that I wanted to leave at the interval (i didn't in the hope I would enjoy the second act).

Just listened to Desi's first 'she used to be mine' in London and it sounded gorgeous. Would love to get back to see her as Jenna.

Got to see this tonight and there were quite a few understudies on. First time seeing it in London and I think the upper circle was closed. Olivia was on as Jenna and I thought she was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed her overall performance more than when I seen Jordin Sparks in the role in Broadway. I was there tonight too Paul! Second time seeing Olivia as Jenna and I agree, she is amazing. A toss up between her and Katherine McPhee for my favourite portrayal of Jenna. What did you think of Dr Pomatter? I must admit, while I’m always happy to see an understudy I really missed David Hunter tonight. I felt Matthew was struggling vocally at times. It was only his second or third time ever in the role so as time goes on maybe he’ll warm up to it. I thought Dr. Pomatter was very good especially considering it was his first or one of his first performances. I was hoping to see David though as I loved his voice when I saw him in Kinky Boots. I quite liked Hannah as Dawn too, not the best singer but still very good, and she was very likeable. Marissa as Becky was good too, however, the woman playing the role when I saw it on Broadway was older and I couldn't help think Marisha looked a bit too young for the role. Still think Olivia is the perfect Jenna, she even sang the soft subtle ending of 'she used to be mine' instead of belting the last note, so I was very happy with that 😂.

Phantom is now not showing as part of the sale. It had so many great seats for £40 earlier. Matilda was also showing earlier but isn't there now.

I saw this last week and still can't believe how little Petula Clark is actually in the show.

Ahh, I forgot the frustration of trying to get the Priceless website to load up.

I'm not sure if this is considered bad behaviour but in my opinion, it is. The man behind me at Mary Poppins this evening was clapping so loud it hurt my ears. I overheard him say to the person beside him that he had seen the show before and then proceeded to tell her about the upcoming special effects. Then before any of the magical moments in the show happened he cheered quite loud, indicating that he knew what was coming next.
I used to visit some shows multiple times but I would never have dreamed of ruining it for others.

Thanks Xanderl!
I'm a bit disappointed not to see Phantom or Les Mis on the list this year.

Is this listed on the MasterCard Priceless website yet or am I too early?

I don't see why they even bothered to have Divina and The Vivienne lip sync. I felt Divina gave the better lip sync but still didn't stand a chance against The Vivienne.
I would have preferred if Divina won, The Vivienne just seems very smug.

Audios of Rebecca Gilliand's debut performance are up on YouTube at the moment. I must say that she sounds amazing! A lot of her performance reminds me so much of Jemma Alexander! Rebecca sounds amazing. I've lost interest in this show but I would go back to see Rebecca's Elphaba.

I hope they bring a ROI queen on the show, would be great to see some representation of my local girls! I don't think they ever could or would. ROI isn't technically in the UK? And its hosted on the BBC, do ROI pay into the BBC? They had a Canadian queen on until a few episodes ago so I'd say it will happen eventually.

Went to see this on Broadway this evening and I do not get the hype at all. This is easily one of the most overrated things I've ever sat through. I don't think anything would convince me to go see this in London.

Jordin was fantastic as Jenna, her voice really filled the whole theatre. Acting wise she was very good, there were a few moments where I felt like she didn't need to try as hard, 'she used to be mine' being one of them, I thought she seemed a bit too emotional during that song.
Glad to hear Lucie sometimes sings the softer ending of the song - I will be living in hope that I hear the soft ending next time I see it in London 😂.

I've noticed since Shoshana Bean's stint in Waitress, all subsequent Jennas on Broadway and even Lucie Jones, end 'she used to be mine' with a big belly "mine" at the end and I really don't think it works for the song. Jordin Sparks did it on Broadway last night and I think the last few words being sung softly has a bigger impact.

Seen this on Broadway tonight and it was a very nice surprise. Not a weak link in the cast. I might have to visit it again next time I'm in London.

This isn't bad behaviour at a show, but...
I am cabin crew for an airline and I recently had the cast of a touring musical on board. I immediately recognised the cast as some of them were wearing merchandise from the show.
Two of the cast members were sitting at the front making a lot of noise and when I commenced my safety demonstration I appeared to have inconvenienced them as they had to talk extra loud to hear each other. I can only imagine what those performers would have to say if members of the audience started doing the same at one of their performances.

How many times do I have to say that Laura is leaving at cast change!? She's also been auditioning for other shows (french ones in particular). She will not be promoted. However I suspect she will return within the next 5 years as lead Elphaba maybe!

I do not find Nikki's vocals pleasant at all. Her vowels sound very strange, in defying gravity she shouts "it's mayyyyy" instead of singing "it's meeeeeee." I know I'm in the minority judging by the comments of "yas queen, slay" and "I am shook" on YouTube but this is a very disappointing cast change.

Just thinking about casting. I don't know if the dates clashed now that 9 to 5 has extended, but they could potentially cast either Amber Davies or Natalie McQueen as Amber/Penny? Please not Natalie McQueen. She would definitely have to cover all her tattoos for either role if she was chosen.

There's an audio of Lucie's 'she used to be mine' on YouTube and it sounds amazing. Sounds like she listened to Shoshana Bean singing it because there are a few similarities.

I am definitely in the minority here but I would rather not have to listen to Sandra Marvin's nasal singing again - saw her once in London and once on tour and wasn't impressed by her singing. Her acting was fine. I also saw Johnnie Fiori as Motormouth Maybelle and thought her voice was much stronger.

Marissa Jaret Winokur was 30 when she played Tracy and then around 36 when she reprised the role before it closed on Broadway.

I saw Charlotte Riby go on for Becky in Waitress last week. and speaking of Becky, Keale Settle understudied and played Tracey in America, and she's doing OK for herself! 😂 It's a good point though, I haven't seen much attention on many of the girls who played that role following. I don't think Keala ever understudied the role of Tracy. She was cast as Tracy in the 2nd national tour.
