He is also the very same person who notoriously shoved the young girl out of the way at the SD queue so he could stand closer to the door. Ummmm no I didn't... Whoever said that to you is clearly lying!

Great one! But I still prefer that one version from 01/06/12 with Gina Beck as Glinda. It got deleted from youtube I loved that one so much. It made me decide to see Wicked in the first place. I remember the exact title was "Wicked - Rachel Tucker - Defying Gravity 01/06/12 (Best performance ever!)". And in the description it said the other cast members had tweeted about this performance during the interval. Yeah i remember that one, for me, that one and this one are her best in my opinion, She's so powerful here and does all her riffs like the too long i've been afraid of, There's riff and then all of them in the flying section!

A new audio of Rachel has just been posted to YouTube from September, 100% her best so far There's been an audio of this show for ages. Definitely one of her strongest (although I wouldn't go as far to say her best) I worded it wrong aha, i meant her best so far in London since she came back in September

Emma is Queen after all Rachel isn't for me, personally I don't think Rachel can act, sorry!🙈 Alice is so much better (in my opinion) You don't like Rachel as Elphaba and that's fine - we're all entitled to our opinions. However, to say that she can't act is a complete nonsense! Someone who can't act wouldn't have had her contract at Wicked renewed during her first West End run. Nor would she have been invited to play Elphaba on Broadway. During her stint in I'd Do Anything her acting wasn't, as far as I can recall, ever criticised by the judges. Others were, so if there had been an issue with Rachel's acting ability, it would have been mentioned. She also had a career prior to IDA, understudying in various touring productions, something which would have been a near impossibility for someone who couldn't act. Saying that Emma can't act is complete nonsense -aswell! She's been in a number of west end shows including WWRY & Wicked! Now she's going into Evita as Eva Peron

I think she can act in different roles just not as Elphaba, sorry!

Rachel isn't what everyone makes her out to be, personally i don't like her Elphaba that much, i much prefer Alice & Emma She isn't what people make her out to be? Interesting. Is she really a three hoofed unicorn maskerading as a theatre performer? Who knew... Or maybe it could just be that people like different things in "their" Elphaba to others? They always have and they always will. Yeah just a personal look at it I suppose, i was SO EXCITED to see Rachel as Elphaba but unfortunately she wasn't what I had expected and not in a good way, I just don't like her acting unfortunately, a part from a couple of scenes like the cat fight scene, and I love her riffs but nothing else unfortunately

... and why, of all performers, that channel mainly focused on Emma Hatton of all Elphaba's is completely beyond me. My guess is Emma was someones first Elphaba and, in their opinion, was the ultimate Elphaba and no one will ever compare to them. Exactly. If it was dedicated to Rachel or Willemijn I could understand, but Emma? Rachel isn't what everyone makes her out to be, personally i don't like her Elphaba that much, i much prefer Alice & Emma

Oh I'm so very jealous of you all! Rachel is so easily the best actress to take on the role - I love her angry Elphaba and her vocals are just insane! I can't wait for someone to post a cheeky YouTube video of tonight's defying gravity. All that said, Kerry Ellis was absolutely brilliant every time I've seen her in it too. Rachel's too aggressive for me, i much prefer Alice! And if you love Kerry, you'll love Alice, as i've seen Alice 4 times now and some things she does, Kerry did which i find interesting

Loads of People upload videos and audios from all different west end and broadway shows so why are you always picking on this one? multiple people run this youtube channel as i know them all and they get the recordings from random please who want to share them. Are you aware how much of a dim view the performers take to doing this? If you take a read back in this thread then you'll see just what current and past members of the Wicked UK cast think about certain people who do this. And by certain people, they know these people by name... Not to mention the fact it is also 100% illegal I know some performers don't mind it if it's not distracting them which i highly doubt audioing the show will distract them as they can't even tell!

Emma was good in the role, I liked her alot... when she could be bothered to show up. She showed up most of the time. She started to have back issues from April 2016 after falling down the stairs so from April to the end of her run she wasn't as consistent as she used to be and that was because of this.

The name was changed but it now seems to be deleted. They are lucky as on a different day they could have found themselves with a very expensive court appearance on their hands! I just typed in the name of the old channel again, it didn't come up but this one did... hmmm... m.youtube.com/channel/UCAg-521q1i2dtZub_PucZeALoads of People upload videos and audios from all different west end and broadway shows so why are you always picking on this one? multiple people run this youtube channel as i know them all and they get the recordings from random please who want to share them.

Alice is better live just like every other performer, Alice is outstanding! Of course they're all better live. But when you compare Alice's audios to another Elphaba's audios, and you think it's not that good in comparison, I think you can conclude that she'll probably not be incredible live either. well all I'm gonna say is that I personally think, Alice is better than Rachel

I would disagree when you say every performer. I think Emma Hatton sounded far screechier live than in her audios (and I didn't think that was possible) Go Away! I saw Emma nearly 40 times and not once did a screech come from that gorgeous voice of hers!

Here's the latest video of Emma screeching and screaming the score - that Fiyero riff hurt my voice and my ears. Surely that's damaging her voice long term? This sounded atrocious! It sounded like her vocal chords were ripping in half, this is not safe on her voice especially when on a good show she can barely hit the normal "Fiyero". Emma has been a disaster as lead, her acting is some of the most lifeless and bland we've had in the show, and her vocals are just far too strained, especially when she had an entire week off the week before this, probably due to vocal damage attempting to screech the score! Funny, coming from you, who's "queen" damaged her voice long term and here you're taking the piss and saying Emma was damaging her voice, this was nearly a year ago and where's Emma now? Still singing, doing her thing with no vocal damage what so ever, so you might wanna think before you say things!

Yeah all audios of Alice I've heard have been ok, but not amazing. When you have the two best Elphaba's in the world in London this year, you're gonna wanna see Rachel and Willemijn. Alice is better live just like every other performer, Alice is outstanding!

So looking forward to seeing Rachel again tomorrow. My penultimate time before her last performance. I don't think I'll ever see someone who gets Elphaba like she does. Alice.
