Well this is just lovely!
For context this little girl went viral earlier this year when she sang Let It Go in a bomb shelter in Ukraine

Maybe they didn't know they would have to cancel until the last minute? Why are you waiting for a text if you already know it was cancelled? What do you mean? 'waiting for a text'? your missing the point entirely. Firstly, navigating around London, I do not expect to keep a watchful eye on Musks Twitter and bigbrother Facebook - both of which i have never subscribed too. BUT, had a 'text' or an 'email' come through - at any point in time - i would of received and noted that. MY Gripe is 'they' couldnt be bothered to email or text. Hence the large ( annoyed ) crowd outside theatre at around 7.15pm when we arrived. I have continued to complain. Im sure they didnt want to cancel...but odd that illness all up and running literally within 24hours where the show went on with full capacity!! Disgusted and will never ever watch Hamilton or attend that theatre. I've heard it's not that great anyway. They only managed to get the show back up and running again the next day by pulling in previous performers to come back and reprise their roles.

In regards to the prize money I believe they can do it because the contestants have earnt it. They’ve done challenges and they’re the ones voting people out. No producer involvement in who wins.
Unlike Drag Race where you have a panel of judges where it’s all a matter of opinion and the winner is ultimately decided by the producers of the show.

What could have happened for this recording to have gotten all the way through editing, printing and shipped to stores for it to suddenly get delayed? There’s some talk of legal/contractual issues but surely that would have all been sorted before setting a release date.

It’s a magnificent recording! God knows what’s happened with this release but hopefully it will be much more widely available asap. I think it captures the show brilliantly

It’s still not on Apple Music! It was delayed until January 20th/January 23rd. And yet it’s seemingly available to buy in hmv right now

As the waltzer wasn’t in the OV staging I wonder if that means they’re just changing things back to the pre-Broadway staging. Tim specifically mentions getting rid of the 5 revolves so no this will be different to the original Old Vic run.

Tim Minchin has confirmed that they are having to make some changes to the material due to getting rid of the 5 revolves. It’s a shame we’re losing that staging as it was incredibly impressive. Sad but had a feeling that was coming.. may I ask where we can hear/read the comments.. He did an Instagram Q&A which is still visible on his stories. It’s the second question he answered. Sounds like they don’t want to change too much as it was so well received but the change of staging is going to mean there will be some small changes required. Also interesting to note that he puts it down to not having as big a budget as last time that they can’t do the same staging.

Neither page loads anymore. Hopefully this is them just trying to keep it a secret and not it being a mistake and not being released this week.

It still seems kinda bonkers that this is actually happening. The talk of a Wicked movie has been going on for what feels like forever. And yet here we are. Somewhere right now they are shooting the film.

I find it bizarre that for the last several days many theatre “influencers” and profiles have been showing off their cakes and dressing gowns. Teasing the announcement. And now the announcements out they’re all denouncing the show as controversial, problematic and damaging. Anything for clicks, thats how the machine works. Free swag is not provided under condition that effusive praise be returned. It's provided to get people talking about the show, which they are. Check the bloggers thread in General chat. Yes but they have the choice over wether or not they show off the free stuff. If they feel so strongly about the negative aspects this show might have then why even mention it at all. I’ve just taken a look at one theatre twitter account where they showed pictures of the cake and picture of themselves in the dressing gown. In total there’s about 6 tweets from them teasing this announcement. And yet the announcement comes and they call the show inappropriate and damaging. Yet I can scroll down and see them happily wearing the dressing gown emblazoned with the shows logo.

It's a cake to promote the show, not bribery. Ah, I see. Cakes in the shape of dressing gowns. I thought it meant actual dressing gowns. Sorry. No it was cakes and dressing gowns. Some sort of creamy cake where they are encouraged to press their face into it and also a dressing gown with the shows logo on it.

Are all the meringues being sent out a hint? Seem to remember something about a pie in the face in the film. That and they’ve also been sent dressing gowns with Mrs Doubtfire written on them

I wonder why Cynthia didn't do the camera test in the green paint herself I’d imagine if they are trying out loads of different types of green makeup then it makes sense for someone else to do it rather than pulling Cynthia out of rehearsals. Test out loads of different options on someone else and then do the final tests on Cynthia.

That makes me think they might have filmed Loud and then decided to cut it out later rather than it being the plan from the start to not use it.

Well I think it looks like Glasgow. Someone on Twitter had spotted that Olly Murs has released his upcoming tour dates and there’s a show in Liverpool right around the time that the arena would need to be free to prepare for Eurovision. However it’s possible that those tour dates could get moved around.
There’s also someone else claiming that it’s leaked that it’s Liverpool. So looks like we won’t definitely know for sure until the One Show.

Is it true they're going to have a 24 piece orchestra? If this is true then that’s a win at least. Because one thing I really did not like about the London production was the synth style orchestration where everything sounded like it was played on a keyboard. However the rewrite for the song is dreadful.

She hasn’t done anything unsupportive of the Broadway production. I believe the only things she has liked are things to do with her own experience and the London production. There is nothing in her likes over the past few weeks that mentions Cinderella and certainly nothing that shows she isn’t supportive of the Broadway Cinderella. Not sure liking this gleeful tweet is helping. If you look at the rest of Dazzles thread is a blast on ALW Ohhh I missed that one!
