I have never heard of NS. For me a star is someone who most people can recognise, specially regular theatre goers. Jamie Lloyd I know, and like sometimes. Enjoy!

Just out of the afternoon dress rehearsal for the final tonight. It was such a fantastic experience! Really hard to call who’s going to win this year.

UK's rehearsal footage is all a bit underwhelming, I thought they learned a thing or two last year. Israel is the entry most similar to Mae Muller and she's making a much bigger impression visually and aurally. Staging wise I think it’s great. We spent years sending awful staging and it feels like the UK team has definitely learnt a lesson. And I think Mae’s personality really shines through. But the vocals are quite disappointing. Particularly when it isn’t exactly the hardest song to sing. It needs more backing vocals particularly in the chorus. I did see that Mae has been put on vocal rest so maybe her voice is a bit tired right now and she isn’t fully going for it during the rehearsals. Hopefully on the night she will just give it everything. It was never a contender for the win but with a solid performance I think it could still get a respectable score.

There are some other pictures floating around of this scene on Twitter and you can see piles of yellow bricks in the background and yeah it does look like we are seeing the construction of the yellow brick road. It will be some kind of comment on how the Wizard is fake and the yellow brick road is literally just bricks painted yellow and there’s nothing magical or special about it.
Maybe in the first movie we see Oz as this great beautiful place and then in the second movie we see how it’s all a facade and not we thought it to be.

Honestly they've lost credibility and relevance at this point. I remember when Sunset revived a few years ago and it also received 0 nominations, which was ridiculous. I can see some of the snubs, but surely some of the performers/performances; set, lighting design deserved some recognition. And sorry/not sorry - I haven't seen the show, but still enjoy the score that ALW could've at least been acknowledged. I for one hope they do film it. If they did By Jeeves, why not? You’ve not seen the show but the Tony Awards have lost credibility? That seems like a well informed opinion…

I went in with low expectations but I have to say I actually really enjoyed it. My 2 main criticisms would be that the acting from the children was a bit hit or miss. And also that Neverland itself felt quite empty and needed to be a bit more magical. But I thought this was a solid remake and also one of Disney’s better direct to streaming movies. Jude Law as Captain Hook in particular was great!

fb.watch/k3kFN_s2-I/This feels incredibly misleading. No mention on that post to the fact they are just producers.

Another great episode this week - the Cummng/Chenowith number was a joy. For the last series Apple released the songs from the show with each episode, can't find them yet on Apple Music for this series, I hope they will be released at the end of the series.

They clearly knew this was going to happen. It’s no coincidence that they released the two official pictures before these leaks started.

Bigger set leak today so watch at your own risk if you don’t want to spoil anything. You can hear more of No One Mourns the Wicked and a look at some of the choreography.

The sets look great. The costumes look great. The vocals sound great. Who knows how the final product will turn out but I’m getting very excited! Hopefully we might see a leak of Cynthia as well soon. I’d imagine they will use this same set for the cat fight scene.

I’m going to assume that throne like thing that she is standing in is part of the bubble with the rest to be added later with CGI. It gives it that mechanical look which is in keeping with the show. But also as the Wizard doesn’t actually have any powers the idea it looks like an invention that he has created rather than an actual magic bubble.

I would imagine this is for No One Mourns the Wicked. I like the decision to go with pink. It looks great on Ariana.

Saw this last night in Birmingham. A lot of empty seats which was a shame as the production itself was great fun. Very ridiculous and incredibly SpongeBob. I don’t know if you would enjoy this if you’d never seen SpongeBob before. The cast was great across the board. A couple of little sound issues here and there and some of the live sound effects weren’t timed very well but apart from that it all ran very smoothly.

First 2 episodes released today and they’re fantastic. Definitely feels like a huge step up from the first season.

Not to cast a bum note but let’s go ahead and spread some negativity shall we? Let people be excited. This looks way more certain than the Jagged Little Pill announcement was.

Previous winner Loreen is performing for Sweden again. I think we could be seeing Sweden win again this year

I don’t think it’s awful at all. Frankly it’s a bit of a bop. It’s very radio friendly and getting much more air time than our acts in recent years. It has sat at number one on iTunes over the past couple of days and is climbing the streaming charts.
Is it a winner? No I don’t think so. It’s not a particularly competitive song. But with some good staging I could see it hitting the left hand side of the leader board. It helps that it’s incredibly catchy.

Must have been lucky but got straight through and got tickets for the Saturday Grand Final preview at 1pm. Which works perfectly me for me as I won't need to find any accommodation in Liverpool and can be home in time to watch the actual live show that evening Well done. Thats the one I'm trying for and the time bar is about half way along now. Can I ask, does it allocate you seats or can you choose your own? You couldn't choose your seats. I rushed through it so this might not be fully correct but from what I remember it gave me a choice of standing or seated and then it allocated me seats from there

I would have gone for someone like Michael Mcintyre over Graham Norton. From seeing him live, I'd say he's very skilled at finding the humour in unplanned occurrences and very sharp. Graham Norton is a bit predictable and his humour often relies on cattiness, and is not so good/clever off script. Of course, Mcintyre is a white, heterosexual male, so probably that disqualifies him amongst those who decide these things. Or maybe he was approached and not interested. I couldn’t think of anything worse than Michael McIntyre hosting Eurovision.
