Aren't we just getting the same cast as the upcoming New York Concert?

Three days later and I still have tunes from this running around in my head. Almost cinematic in it's presentation at time, this was so engaging. The puppetry was incredible. Almost lifelike in the movement, especially Mojo - although I'd have preferred it if they'd changed his name slightly, Moja even, Mojo just made me think of Austin Powers every time his name was mentioned. Loved so many of the characters. Especially Julie Atherton's Queen Angelica, whose performance was almost comparable to that of Miranda Richardson's Queenie in Blackadder, comic brilliance. Sat in row J I was glad Grimpayne & Dea made their way through into the audience for the finale as I got to see Grimpayne's prosthetic smile up close, which was incredibly detailed. Having snatched a ticket up with my ATG Theatre card for £12 I left feeling like I'd stolen a seat. Absolutely crazy value for such an amazing show! How did you manage a ticket for £12? Ive got an ATG card but it doesn't seem to offer any discount for this? is it a last minute thing?

I don't honestly think Audrey has to be any age, she could easily be in her 30's

I wish there was a Kathryn Evans recording, the YouTube bootlegs I've heard just don't do her justice!

Well Its Follies closely followed by Everybody's talking about Jamie at The Crucible (I've not yet seen the transfer) and I was so pleased The Life finally made its way over

Of the Nolans that I have seen she was by far the strongest...her voice had a guttural quality that really suits the score especially TMINT. Although I do agree Linda was really great did you ever see Bernie Nolan. She did the first uk tour I saw I think 95 ? She was amazing the best of all the Nolan’s .... Stephanie Lawrence always my number 1 though ... when she was on top form I agree, I was gutted when I arrived at the theatre all those years ago in Leeds to see we had a Nolan (Bernie) plying Mrs Johnstone, but wow, did she blow me away! she was by far the best I've seen in the role vocally, and I came away a fan. Such a sad loss

so have they widened the stalls? when I look on the old seat plan my seat didn't exist, yet I'm sure when I booked it was fairly central

How was your view in general? I’m Row C and starting to get a bit concerned with stage height! Don't worry! Obviously you can't see the revolve or stage floor and associated lighting effects, but I had zero issues with the view. It doesn't feel too close, and being so close enables you to really take in the facial expressions and acting nuances. I'd happily sit in the front stalls again I'm sat in Row D when I go, so it looks pretty good, I'm dD30 I think, what seat were you in?

I really want to see this now (having had to cancel my booking for April due to workload) but it really drives me mad that you cant select your own seat and see whats available. Even the premium seats at £99.50 are in poor locations and I'm looking as far as Jan 2019! Go check Nimax now! There's £40 stalls seats (which are in good seats) for tomorrow and Friday's show. Thanks, I never thought to just check last minute, unfortunately I cant go anytime before Christmas, however I checked for Saturday this week and there are some excellent premium seats available! so that's my plan now to check in Jan on a daily basis as I hope that some people will cancel last minute as they need to money following a costly Christmas...hehe

Having just seen the production photos I'm very surprised that Pinocchio isn't a puppet.. surely that's the point?. I was expecting something like Oskar from Knee-high's Tin Drum. Its not how I would have designed it, but hey ho

The season launch for Nottingham Playhouse has appeared on You Tube. Evelyn Hoskins singing If My Friends Could See Me Now is at the start, Where Am I Going at 55:10 and Big Spender at 57:20. I hope its just a poor recording because this doesn't sound great! very scratchy and shouty

I chose Newcastle as top price student tickets are £10 compared to £49 when it gets to Leeds, Its probably a false economy as I need to travel to Newcastle but at least its a day out!

So Ive just got the sound track and I'm confused with the casting of Kelsey Grammar, is he going to be playing Edward throughout the whole show or will they have a younger version? as I cant imagine him singing some of the songs Norbert Leo Butz sings and especially not in the same key!
