What is there about LSOH that lends itself to an outdoor production?

Ooh the potential for the monster in this is rather exciting, imagine Audrey II fully grown amongst the trees...
I liked how they did the Giant's Wife for "Into the Woods", poking her head made of discarded bicycle frames etc. out above the trees. A monster "plant" should be amazing!

ooh please can we have Louise Dearman for Audrey!! The plant, presumably, because she’s certainly a good ten years too old for the human Audrey! Is there ANY female musical part that Louise doesn’t get dream cast for? Her agent’s phone must be ringing off the hook. I’ve only seen her in one thing and she was ok but nowt special.

I do agree that she's probably too old for Audrey, but there's no denying that her vocal and performance skills are incredible. I'm still holding out for Bombshell, Louise would sing the hell out of those songs

Louise has in my opinion one of the finest voices in musical theatre. Have seen her many times, in shows and in concert.(Plus when she guested for Josh Groban) When ever I have met her she is always lovely. Over Christmas she did 26 concerts in 5 weeks and I think I will take whoever books her and the likes of Josh Groban who asked her back on his second tour as proof of her ability.

Poor Louise, she's only a couple of years older than Ellen Greene was when she did the film version.

Most people know the statement is simply wrong, as evidenced by the fact she is consistantly dream cast. The comments speak for themselves.

Aside from the FACT that she is still the only actress to have been cast as Glinda and Elphaba in Wicked. On the Louise front she has a new album out soon. No release date yet but her last one It's Time is my favourite by a musical theatre star.
