Seeing the comments about gardening makes you think. My OH is a self employed gardener, and has his round of regulars, all elderly, no more than 5 minutes drive away. He could easily work without seeing them, if they stayed indoors (even though elderly, they are all savvy with online payment). However, he actually phoned the police for advice and was told in no uncertain terms not to go, so he hasn't. He's not classed as a key worker (fair enough) and the 5 minutes journey is deemed unnecessary. Yet at home, he is far closer to the neighbours if they are all out in their gardens (which they all seem to be!), than if he was working alone.

I've just logged into my ATG account too. Recent Orders only shows Pretty Woman, but then I clicked on Upcoming Events and the rest of my orders for later shows were in there.

I'm the opposite, I love Twitter. I have less than 200 followers and am choosy about who I follow, and many of them are friends. I find the celebrity, and in fact, everybody showing off is far worse on Instagram, with all the nobodies thinking they are somebody, and that the world is interested in what they had for breakfast. Wild horses wouldn't get me on there. I find it easy to avoid the rubbish on Twitter by just not reading it!

I was at a funeral today too - only this was on line. In contrast to the one you attended, theatreian, this would have been a big affair, 300+. However, from what we could see, there were about a dozen there, all well separated, apart from the immediate family. He was in his late 60's, so the majority of the would be attendees would have been that sort of age group or above. It was a very moving service, but strange to be watching via a laptop, and at least we were able to be there in spirit.

Don't know what happened there. I was trying to quote theatrecatlady about the refund from Todaytix. Anyway, I have now emailed them and heard nothing. All's well. Refund received. Emailing support@ does seem to do the trick.

Sorry if this has been asked (and answered) before. I have just received an email from TodayTix regarding Waitress that I should have been seeing today. They are offering a voucher for 110% of the original ticket cost. Is there any way of contacting them to say I would rather have a refund? It's one of those non-reply emails.

I was going to see Waitress tomorrow, then Sarah and Gavin scarpered - luckily for them, as it turned out. I had decided to go anyway, until fate intervened.

I'm being forced into the self isolating thing because I'm old. I do get the bigger picture, but I'm still reeling at the thought of being stuck at home for the next twelve weeks or so. I am retired, but normally go out at least three times a week, and to London for shows at least twice a month. Theatre is a big part of my life. I am devastated for the theatre community - how they will get back on their feet after all this is anyone's guess.
I should also add I feel for all those who could lose their livelihood over this, the self employed, the small businesses, the larger businesses, bars etc etc etc. Our friend runs a pub in the country, and his main lunchtime clientele is the retired. Plus, now he will probably have to close anyway.
I'm also reasonably fit and healthy, but my heart goes out to all those not as fortunate as myself, with health problems. I'm worried, so I dread to think how it must be for you.
I haven't worked out all the mechanics of everyday life for the next few weeks yet. We do on line shopping, so will get whatever they have in stock, most substitutes welcome! I am going into town tomorrow to do some final bits of business, then that's it.

The last time I went to my local cinema, it was almost as good as self isolating. There were only three of us in the audience. Sorry I'm being flippant, but it's that or fall into a deep depression (which I can feel is on its way ....)

As much as I am looking forward tp this ( and I really am) despite already having a ticket in hand, PLEASE do not let this be cancelled because of the virus! Anthony40. How long have you had your ticket for? I'm still waiting for mine and booked the day they want on sale. I was not panicking as thought I had read that they were being sent out 2 weeks before but now I'm a bit concerned. I'm the same - ticket booked months ago, but not received.

Sara and Gavin to play their final performance tomorrow evening (sat 14th) Oh great. I booked to specifically see them next week, on the only date I could manage. I had a brilliant seat, too. Oh well, I can see where they're coming from. We shall have to wait and see what happens, I guess.

Surely assessing the ‘product’ should be done behind closed doors at the DR? Not fair to disrupt the audience at a paid performance imo. I had the creatives sitting directly in front of me at Preludes. They used the old fashioned method of pen and paper - unfortunately illuminated by a pencil torch! During the interval people across the aisle complained to an usher, and he had to explain who they were (and why they would be carrying on!).

Front Row now on sale for ATG members. I had a look for the second preview- £175 each. Am wondering if I had the right glasses on for a moment! I had a look at the prices for the date I'm going in April. They seem to have shot up, as the seat I have is almost double the price now!

I'm not sure whether this is bad behaviour or etiquette or what .....
Two Chinese girls sitting next to me at today's matinee of Jamie were both wearing face masks which they kept on for the entire show. I wasn't aware we had been transported to Wuhan. Sorry to be flippant, but I think it's insulting to infer that our audiences are so plague ridden that they can't attend a show without masks.

Red Box with price options still not fully visible: I seem to recall a discussion about this and a suggested workaround, but having trawled back through the whole thread I can't find it. I was also told by ATG, back in the mists of time, that it was an IT error and they were fixing it but that clearly hasn't happened. So, any advice, please, fellow members? I am an ATG member and log in as one but when I get the price options in the red box, I can only see the upper part and there is no way to move it/enlarge it/scroll down to see the full list. I'm actually trying to book for something at present (not urgent) and would rather not embark on yet another protracted and possibly fruitless email enquiry with ATG. I'm using Chrome with Windows 10 but can try a different browser if that would help. I often have the same problem on Chrome if there are a lot of options. If I go back to my old Internet Explorer I can see the whole thing. Oops, sorry, only just seen Burly's link - will try that too.
