Cadogan Hall had a Save The Date notice in their West End Does Love programme tonight, for 3rd May 2020, with the tagline 'a love story of biblical proportions'...
What do we think? Children Of Eden in concert, maybe?

I think this is being announced tomorrow, West End Does are teasing something on their Instagram story which looks like it is has a D in the title and an image that looks very much like an apple... 😀

Would love for them to include 'World Without You' that was cut after the original London production.

The new date probably works better for me. Getting out of London whilst I can and hopefully will be back when all the theatres are back too

Now scheduled for Sunday 2 May 2021 and on sale from Cadogan Hall. All seats are being sold, hope that works out and it proves third time lucky. Probably not financially viable with social distancing
I couldn't make the original date so happy to get a front row stalls seat booked today

I wonder what Ruthie Henshall will he doing in the concert? I assumed they would each be playing a role/roles as if in the actual production i.e the same actor plays Adam and Noah or Eve and Mrs Noah. So what is Ruthie playing?
I'm intrigued to what the revisions to the score are too.
The last time i was CoE was a concert at the Prince of Wales, back in 2012. It had Louise Dearman, Oliver Thornton (what happened to him?) And Russell Grant as the snake!

Oliver Thornton is an interior designer or something now!
Happy memories of him in Priscilla. 😍

I suppose it's not too bad that she's the snake, but I've spent years determinedly avoiding anything with Ruthie Henshall in it, so I'd rather it was someone else. Her voice just absolutely grates on me for some reason.
Be interesting to see what roles everyone else is playing. If Alice Fearn isn't Eve, I may riot, because I really want to hear her sing Spark of Creation.
...and idiot here just worked out she can see precisely that by actually clicking the Instagram link.
Excellent that Alice is playing Eve, could do without Shan Ako playing Yonah though. Stranger to the Rain is one of my favourites, and I was so thoroughly underwhelmed by her as Eponine that I can't help being a bit disappointed there. The big things for me in this show though are the massive choral moments, so no one performer is too much of an issue!

Is the original CHILDREN OF EDEN album available to stream anywhere? I can’t find it on Spotify/iTunes? It is a score I don’t know, but now having heard a few songs and loved them, I would like to listen to the whole thing.

It' a curate's egg of a piece. The first part of the creation and arrival of the animals is so exciting, then the second half goes all over the place. But listen to the arrival of the animals.

Rob, Shan and Alice all each performed a song from this at West End Live this afternoon. They were sung beautifully.

After i had a shower and was thinking of getting ready to go, i thought I'd just check to see how tickets had sold for tonight. I'm glad i did, because it was only then that i realised this concert is next Sunday. I could have sworn it was today! At least i have something to look forward to next weekend now.
Considering some of the people involved, i thought this would have been a sell out.

Still plenty of availability for both shows tomorrow, so here's my cheeky question -- does anyone know of any deals for this one? TodayTix is still selling tickets at full price.
