Sunday in the Park (SEDOS) does anyone know what the seating is like at Wheateaf Hall? Pics show a flat hall floor but I wonder if they will put in some tiers. Anyhelp will be greatly appreciated
Edit: Sedos are excellent at responding to emails, the seating is not raised but the stage is.

I thought You are here was excellent so I'll definitely be seeing this one.
Some great songs are in it and the cast recording is in the usual places

I believe they are doing Rigoletto, Pirates of Penzance, La Boheme and (if I heard correctly) Turn of the Screw. Can’t remember the others! I love Screw but the Coli has got to be one of the worst locations for it.

Mikado is definitely the one that brings in people. Iolanthe last year I was really sad when I was seeing empty seats. I'm afraid I've never been to see ENO's Iolanthe, since Cal McCrystal is on my Directors To Avoid list. I enjoyed Life on the moon and Pinafore but not Iolanthe (way to silly). It will be interesting to see if his 'Widow' is merry or not

Onegin, fidelio and The bernstein all appeal. Especially the latter, would we of had this if it wasnt for Maestro?
And yay to the Wheeldon and Balanchine mixed bills.
Looks like ill be going 5 times next season.

Sunday in the Park @ Mountview 26/4/24
Wow. This was so good.
Josh Rosewood was incredible and deserves to be a huge star.
I liked the idea of muses acting as stage managers and thought the staging of Its hot up here was really inventive.
My one critism was the band. They sounded too smooth and mellow, i missed the sharp and jagged Britenesque tones
*** So many of the cast and audience had Paul Mescal haircuts, i need to buy a wig!
*** Mega thanks to everyone who keep updating this thread.

I guess previous Olivers funded Old Friends and i guess this one will bankroll its forthcoming Broadway run. Small mercies

Have I missed something, what's the filler? To be announced next week apparently but don't get your hopes up! But nothing to do with this mornings state of the nation address from Cam Mack?

Hi capybara great to meet you and fab review. I was sat next to you, wearing a blue t-shirt and yacking on about Company! Back to the show, it was even better for seeing it for a second time. I was very moved and tearful at multiple points - i didn't know this revue had the power to do that.

I thought Rake was excellent. Good singing, playing and staging - ok it was a little cramped at times and i suspect not as Hogarth intended! A stylised production like Manon but this one made perfect sense
One of the best Rakes ive seen and id love to see the principles again in other roles.
Next season is Blonde Eckbert and The Snowmaiden. Im not sure if i fancy another snow maiden or to be precise, a Rimsky-Korsakov opera.

The Metro have rather belatedly posted a 5 star review in today's issue. "You have to really love theatre to get this show, but the rewards are there for those who do"
So if I didn't like it, I'm just not a big enough fan of theatre? Alrighty.
You obviously HATE theatre 😉

I very rarely click through to tabloid links, but the S*n are claiming that investors are worried they won’t make their money back and are threatening to pull out and therefore forcing it to close. Now I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure that’s not how theatre investments work… 😂😂😂 LITERALLY not how it works. How unlike the scum to get the story wrong
