When are they contacting the audience members? I’m due to go Dec 22 and haven’t heard anything.
What a disgrace!

Michael Haarison is known far more than just panto, he's responsible for several of the biggest West End and touring shows over the last several years Like the glory of the Joseph revival that I HATED and walked out on? God help us

I worry that this won’t be done in its 10/10 professional West End glory.
Instead it will end up looking like a magical fun touring panto.
Imagine a palladium version and then Leeds QDOS panto version and then a UK tour that visits Southend and Darford version.
Eeeeek!!

Considering that it didn't do great on Broadway I'm not sure if there will ever be a West End production, but if so Hannah Waddingham and Gavin Spokes would be fantastic as Dee Dee and Barry Everything in life is about TIMING. This film musical is now STRATOSPHERIC!!!!!!! The National tour starts in the US in 2021 and will now SELL OUT. Just like Hairspray this musical is going to get bigger and bigger AND will be performed MANY times in the UK Wait and see!!!

No idea why people moaning about this guy’s voice. He’s got a lovely soft and clean tone, with appropriate power. And I assume - since they could have had anyone and cast him - that he’s the man for the role! Thin voice, bad phrasing, bad breathing, odd liasons (taking the consonant over to the next vowel, stressing the wrong words, bad modern vocal placing “atchooooo”, higher doesn’t mean louder, pitchy, scoops to notes, uncertain on entry notes, falls off others ........ These are just some of the reason I don’t like the guys sweet voice. It’s 7/10 and knowing the talent in this country many male singers are 9 or 10/10. Gorgeous song - average voice.

I think people will be looking at the poster and thinking “seen that already”. THIS! Didn’t we all all just see Sunset with Glen Close and then the screechy Ria on the UK tour (in my case Wimbledon). We’ve SEEN IT. A different and more exciting Norma and I would have gone - Jane Macdonalds, the Nolan’s, Lyn Paul, Lulu, one of the Murray Sisters (who was doing it at Alexander Palace), ANYONE ELSE!!!

Watched Carrie on Children in Need and Andrew miming/faking the keyboard.
A The song is naff.
B The other song “Far Too Late” is much better
C Carrie I’m sorry looked like a local librarian from hull singing in glasses - I could say more but I shall refrain. Looks, clothes, styling DO matter greatly folks.
D Odd song, awkward interviews and Carrie doesn't have that MT star lead quality others have in my opinion. It just looks and sounds naff.
Thumbs down from me sorry and I adore ALW shows

Oh right. I assumed in-person rehearsals werent allowed in current rules. Not to mention the cast on stage are not all 2 metres apart.

ATG Theatres in Bristol, Manchester and Milton Keynes will be announcing on Wednesday some QDOS pantos for this year. Shorter runs and shorter running times than usual but still with an all star cast. I’ve no idea of the casts yet though. What will happen now with lockdown mark 2

I love Carrie, she’s great. But god ALW is very out of his depth it seems. It’s as if he’s trying to cater to younger audiences by mimicking the sound of & Juliet/Six but it’s just not really working. I can’t put my finger on it but it just sounds like someone trying so hard to be edgy/cool. This is literally word-for-word what I've been trying to articulate. YES. 100%. I just think... 'is this REALLY THE BEST THAT YOU CAN COME UP WITH ANDREW!!!?!?' And the fact he says, 'MY Cinderella,' in every interview I have seen. No. Both songs I’ve heard from this show are both naff, sound like other songs from other shows and Carrie seems odd casting. Far Too Late seems like it’s better sung by a soprano!

It is a dreadful song. Doesn’t go anywhere, repetitive clunky chord sequences, old school ploddy Andrew Lloyd Webber (of which I’m a fan). His music falls into two categories genius (Evita, Sunset) and cheesy pop song nasty.
In other news - Cinderella has been taken off sale and will be postponed AGAIN, (I expect Frozen and Back to the Future to follow).
