Haven't seen JCS live since the 1990s so really looking forward to seeing this production in Aug.

Not sure which musical would fit the bill, but something to fill 42nd Street's shoes would be fab.

She'll be on Michael Ball's Radio 2 show at 11am tomorrow. Hope she'll be singing!

It's a show I wouldn't mind seeing, but the last couple of times it's been in Bristol there was no ATG Theatre Card discount so I didn't bother.

Another one looking forward to this. Saw it at the WMC in Cardiff a few years ago and it was excellent, except for the rain not working! Was hoping to do a double header with Hairspray but that finishes just before this starts.

I’m sure you will love Liverpool. It’s a great city with plenty of theatre to watch. I’m sure hannechalk has already booked for Blood Brothers already when it stops at the Liverpool Empire! Well, the funny thing is - I haven't yet! 🤣 And someone from this board has been so inconsiderate to have been born in the same weekend Blood Brothers is closing there. That will be a real test of friendship - Blood Brothers or my 40th 😁

Where you singing “Bright New Day” during the packing? More like 'Where the f... is...? What the f... is this? I can't coooooooope!'. ruby can confirm. I think she's had a few million texts from me this week regarding packing frustrations. I can indeed confirm the million texts. While I'll miss hannechalk a lot (ssssh don't tell her), I'm looking forward to theatre adventures in Liverpool and exploring the city.

I didn't realise this was only about an hour away from Bristol, so I've booked for the first Saturday and am really looking forward to it.

Phantom. It was the first musical I saw back in 1991 and I thought it was magical. Saw it again in 2007 and thought it looked incredibly dated then, so goodness knows what it's like now.

After being completely wowed by Hugh Jackman last week, I'd have to say "The Boy From Oz".

Really enjoyed this last night, lots of fun. Enjoyed all 3 leads but thought Bonnie Langford stole the show.
Got the ATG Theatre Card offer for £75 which included a mini bottle of Moet, chocolates and dress circle box seats. They are slightly restricted to stage left but we didn't miss anything significant. We also had a private seating area and bathroom outside the box which was great as I hate queueing!

Aww that's a real shame.. Seems a bit strange that we had Keala in Glasgow but he doesn't take a special guest to every venue. I didn't mind at all tbh, I like The Greatest Showman and thought Jenna-Lee James sang it well but it wasn't the main reason I went.

Wouldn't you just use the 7 (or is it 5?) day free trial? (If of course proxies work). Well that would depend if you only wanted to watch it once. Watch 42nd Street once? What is this nonsensical idea of which you speak?

A Bristolian expression meaning "great" is "Gurt lush". There's a restaurant in tents here called "Yurt Lush".

Still buzzing from last night!
He just gets better and better. I've seen quite a few of his concert tours, but this really was one of the best. His version of Anthem to close the first half, then the Les Mis medley in the second half were superb. I also love that he seems to love Mack and Mabel as much as I do. His "I Won't Send Roses" was lovely.
Mum and I now cannot wait for Les Mis in Sept (my mum previously having said she loves him but couldn't see him as Javert). After "Stars", she just said "wow wow wow!"
