Try booking through the Nimax website if the RSC one is giving you problems (or vice versa). There's links to both on www.donquixoteplay.com, and there doesn't seem to be a difference in booking fee. Thank you so much. That did it. And I had looked and was going to book as member earlier. Am really glad I didn't.

I'm not able to select my own seat. It doesn't give me the option for the front stalls. Even when I'm logged in as a member

A&C is out for me. Its break starts 5 days before I get to London and ends 2 days after I leave. I will get to see War Horse which I'm excited about. I've never seen it before. I'm on the fence about Stories.

Trump is clearly a megalomaniac who needs to be stopped but I'm way more concerned by the number two (in so many ways). Mike Pence disturbs me more than I can say. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Trump is being used as a means to grab power by Pence via the back door without going through an election. That is the only reason I hope Trump will serve his one term. Pence would be so much more dangerous to individual liberties, separation of church and state, and womens rights

Drump just signed Executive Order saying families will be kept together but that Zero Tolerance still is active. Nothing about how this is going to be accomplished. And so much for him saying he couldn't do anything about it.

The law hasn’t changed. Exactly the same law was in place under Obama when the Democrats had majorities in both houses and they did precisely nothing about it. Children were separated from their parents at the border under Obama using exactly the same facilities and no-one posted a thing about it here. If you are suggesting Trump personally should tell them to ignore this law you’d better be ready for him to ignore a bunch of other laws too. Congress created the problem and needs to fix it. Of course a large majority of children being held at the border were sent there alone by their parents, often with strangers, in the hope they’d be allowed to stay and later bring their families - this is a harder problem to solve. A Trump and Fox News LIE. Edit to add: Do you really think that if that had happened the conservative news groups wouldn't have been all over it???

US here. Crossing the border illegally is a misdemeanor. Most misdemeanors are handled by giving a ticket and a trial date (usually months away). This has been the procedure up until now. When Trump and the Attorney General Sessions declared "zero tolerance" it meant that people were immediately taken into custody. This gives the US authorities the reasoning for separating children from their parents as only charged individuals can be in custody. f***tard Trump keeps saying the Democrats are to blame but doesn't mention that the Republicans have majorities in both Houses and, if they got together and agreed on something, they could stop it now. The same way that Trump could stop it with a single tweet but his "base" voters love him for it. Wonder if they will feel the same way when authorities come after them in the future? And what are Republicans doing? Trying to start an investigation to investigate the investigators that they appointed to investigate the original investigators (you really can't make this sh*t up) over Hillary Clintons emails Irregardless of perceived misdemeanors, how is it acceptable, and ethical even, to contain said purps in cages? This is borderline holocaust sh*t. I agree. I was giving their rational. And no one I know considers the Trump regime to be acceptable or ethical

They do run two shows in rep, but unfortunately there's no way of knowing just yet what sort of gap they might have between A&C and the opening of Hadestown. They shut Follies down for a week in advance of opening George And The Dragon, and there was a much longer quiet patch between Common closing and Follies starting (although that was August, August is a dead period for London theatre). Hadestown is a production that already exists, so although they may need to build the set anew to fit the Olivier, they may not need as much tech time because it's a matter of adapting what they have rather than starting from scratch. It's therefore not impossible that they might run A&C up to and including Saturday 27th? (Looking at the Hadestown schedule, they're fairly full on for the first few weeks so I wouldn't hold out any hope for November performances of A&C.) If I were you, I'd be prepared for A&C to not be on at all while you're here. That way you're either already on the path to sad acceptance when the schedule is confirmed, or pleasantly surprised if it turns out you do overlap. (Keep your end-of-October planning as clear as you can until the dates are confirmed, just in case.) The 27th would be about my only hope. I get in that morning and, judging from how I did last time, I bought ticket to Macbeth that night. But I also got one for 9 Nov just in case I was too tired. As they were the £10 ticket I would gladly give the 27th ticket up for A&C. 28th is Sunday, 29th I have reservation for Ceremony of the Keys at ToL and then 30th is clear so far. Oh well, I won't count on it but will hold a tiny bit of hope that it will run the 27th and I can get ticket.

NT website says A&C starts in Sept at the Olivier. Since Hadestown starts 2 Nov then I'm afraid I have to give up hope that it will be playing when I arrive 27 Oct. Or am I reading this wrong?

Hope there are some seats left by the time non-members can buy. Guess I should be more concerned if it's going to be running when I'm there......

So @ryan owns his own aeroplane company? Why are we only just learning about this now? The on board entertainment could be interesting. I assume drinking is allowed? I've heard it's mandatory

It's wrong how this is being reported. The Supreme Court did not rule for the baker. They ruled that the "Colorado Civil Rights Commission mishandled Phillips' claim. The court did not rule that the Constitution grants the right to discriminate but maintained the longstanding principle that business owners cannot deny equal access to goods and services."
And it was a very narrow ruling. Basically the the CO Civil Rights Commission bungled how they came to the ruling they did. If they would have just kept their mouths shut and not made discriminatory remarks during their ruling about the bakers religious beliefs and if they were even sincere, and made the same ruling, it would have been upheld.

I'm sorry if this has been asked so many times. For the run time on Part 1 it says "3 hours 15 min with 2 intervals". I never can figure out if that means that run time includes the 2 intervals or if it is really 3 hours 15 min and then add on the 2 intervals?

Just learned that Andrew Burnap is a fellow Rhode Islander. And he just graduated from University of Rhode Island in 2013. So young to have come this far in his career already.

Not a play, but still: Frances McDormand and her laureled husband Joel Coen at the all-Sibelius concert at the LSO on Thursday, in the company of the conductor Michael Tilson Thomas's husband, Joshua. Also there: Leslie Caron. Leslie Caron??? Be still my heart.........

Had H6 in my basket for Nov 10th 2 play day but 2nd guessing myself wondering if I should spring for pricier seats. Loved royal D4 for Half a Six-Pence but it is certainly more expensive for these plays. I really like the idea of H6 with legroom and being on aisle.

I've made a drinking game from this thread. Whenever someone mentions a name I've never heard of, I get a drink. But some of you have really ruined it by mentioning a familiar name. Stop That!!!
