Just got access to the priority booking - considering I saw both parts at the Young Vic from the front few rows for £20 total, the prices are making my eyes water. There's some £20 per part tickets up in the balcony, but I think I might hold out for day seats/rush tickets. The £20 discount for both parts is only valid on £95, £90, £70, £65, £45, and £40 (per part) seats.

JambOr - I did the same vis a vis Home, I'm Darling. I looked at a lot of dates and ended up spending more than I wanted on pretty bad seats. But I did really want to see it so - there you are. I ended up spending more than I'd planned too. I'm hoping to be able to get hold of a Friday rush ticket (hopefully they will be front row again, if the stage is similar height to The Great Wave the view will be fine for me) and return the expensive ticket I bought yesterday

This is fantastic news! I really can't wait to see it again making sure to bring as many people as possible with me - this really deserves to be seen. I noticed on another article the dates given were September 21st January 5th. And it was also noted "The majority of the cast will transfer, including Burnap, Hilton, Hickey, Soller and Redgrave, plus Hugo Bolton, Robert Boulter, Hubert Burton, Samuel H. Levine, Syrus Lowe, Michael Marcus and Michael Walters"

There are a "strictly limited" number of £19:50 tickets for this, at the sides. Be quick! Thank you for this! Just managed to get some front row tickets for August 😀

I sent the NT a message on Twitter a few days ago asking when the AmEx presale was, couldn’t find reference to it anywhere on the website.
Managed to get Home,I’m Darling this morning, looked at about 25 dates and there wasn’t much availability left for a lot of them!

Nothing to do with the sh*t reviews And half empty papered theatre then Having to read your boring, repetitive and downright dull opinions on how much you hate everything is one thing, but your lack of sympathy for others with comments like this one is another. Between this comment and the one calling the Bridge theatre ‘twattish’ for having gender neutral toilets to have a positive impact on the mental wellbeing of transgender and non binary people (a community where mental health issues and suicide rates are through the roof) just makes you look like an all round terrible human, just FYI.

Upper circle has been closed on a number of evenings in the last couple of weeks (not just Wednesday matinees, in fact it looks like it is closed this evening) with upper circle ticket holders being upgraded to the lower levels. It was closed when I went one evening last week. Dynamic pricing is in full force midweek too, got a decent dress circle seat for £20 from the box office.

Well I didn’t think it was possible, but it actually happened. Tickets for sale on a Facebook buy/sell group because someone thought it was Disney’s Frozen. I sometimes wonder how these people function in society. (No personal information is in the attached screenshot and I have nothing to do with the actual sale, I just couldn’t believe my eyes)

The Lyric and the St. Martins are the only West End theatres I have never been in. 'Showstopper! The Improvised Musical' is in the Lyric once per month on a Monday. It's fantastic and a good opportunity to see the inside of the theatre!

Question to put my mind at ease... is Strat meant to pass out at the end of the Act, then Danielle, medics and a stage hand carry him off? Because I honestly could not tell if that was meant to happen and it's freaked me out! It’s a new part of the show and is supposed to happen. A lot of people in the audience were looking worried when I last saw it from the front stalls!

Is there any way to book using theatre tokens without phoning the expensive 0844 number? (and if possible with no booking fee!). It costs a huge amount to call from my mobile Saynoto0870.com says you can try: 01217804141 01217674045

Just seen on Facebook this is coming back to The Other Palace 1st September - 7th October. It wasn’t from an official source though, so forgive me if it turns out not to be true
I missed it the first time around, so I hope it happens!
Edit: The Other Palace Facebook page just posted about it, so it’s now confirmed

For those that are interested, I thought I’d try seeing what seats are available in the TodayTix rush, and was given seat E44 in the Upper Circle when adding to my basket this morning. Not too bad for £25!

Just logged in to TodayTix and they have balcony tickets for £15 plus booking fee (total £21) for some performances. There's loads of £15 balcony tickets available through the ENO website, and the booking fee there is only £1.75 as opposed to TodayTix's £3 (When I look on TodayTix it says the total for the £15 seats including fee is £18, not £21 as you mentioned)

Well I had never been before but I LOVED this last night! I knew from the introductory musical related stand up comedy section by the host that I would be enjoying the rest of the evening. Definitely well deserved winners - when those beards lit up with LEDs I had tears running down my cheeks.
Really hope this continues next year!

Last year I was in Indianapolis for work coincidentally at the same time as Finding Neverland. I did a bit of hunting around and managed to find on the ‘Broadway Across America Indianapolis’ Facebook page a code to use on Ticketmaster for half price tickets. So depending on the popularity of what you’re trying to see, definitely have a hunt around on social media before booking to see if you can find something similar!

Picking up a theme from another thread - papering companies either shouldn't exist or should openly and prominently advertise their services to everyone. I completely understand what you mean, however it’s not hard to find these companies if you really want to find them. Without mentioning any specific papering companies - I’m a member of one that I saw in a Facebook advert (so they do market to the masses sometimes). And if you google ‘how to get free theatre tickets’ all the top hits tell you how to do it. It’s also pretty rare that you’ll actually spot tickets to any ‘big’ shows, so don’t feel like you’re missing out too much!

I've got a lucky dip ticket for tomorrow, what time should I arrive? Do I join a queue or head straight to the box office? When I went I arrived about 40 minutes before curtain up, collected my ticket and then hung around right by the entrance doors to the auditorium. No one else was doing the same, so when they opened the doors I was the first one through. They will then direct you either right or left to meet another usher. That usher will then ask you to stand against the wall and form a queue. Then, at show start time they’ll call you forward and just point to a seat - the further forward you are in the queue, the closer to the front your seat is likely to be (they start pointing at seats from front to back). Good luck!

Well the atmosphere at the press night last night was really something pretty special. There were obviously a large number of attendees from the various fan groups - all very enthusiastic, cheering when certain characters appeared etc, but all really nice people. I'm not sure I've seen a curtain call quite like it! Fingers crossed for the rest of the reviews being positive - I feel like this show deserves it. I was sat in row E of the stalls directly underneath {Spoiler - click to view} the flight of the bats at the end, and I spotted the wire this time! It really is crazy thin - still very impressed with that effect

Are we getting into the area of people colluding on how to be successful in a game show....? If anyone wants to win a free ice cream, meet me in the pub over the road at 7pm and I'll pass you a manila envelope containing details of how much the vacuum cleaner is worth in The Price Is Right along with prime seating locations to be picked to participate 😉

I was in Stage SA5, which is the left side as you face the stage, front row and one of the two central seats on the aisle. I'd be interested to hear if they always go for that seat (or perhaps the other aisle seat). I'd think based on how the camera is positioned and where the host has to stand, there aren't really many options. It sounds like that was the seat that was picked on when I went on Friday last week. I was sat in stalls C7 (end of the front front row) and the guy to my left was asked if he wanted to take part in The Price is Right.

Ashamedly I was a little disappointed when realising that the big 'BRING IT ON' branding they are using to announce this season doesn't actually mean that 'Bring It On' the musical is being included in the lineup
