Their Facebook page has just put up a link for best seats £17.50 How do you get this price? The link takes me to the normal page The benches at the side of the stage are £21 (minus £3 booking fee and 50p restoration fee = £17.50). It's a bit of a poorly worded statement and the key word is *FROM* £17.50 (but this price definitely isn't for the 'best' seats). The top price seats are still £43 at full price incl fees

That offer is also on Amazon Tickets, which is powered by fromtheboxoffice. Ah - I originally checked there and nothing came up when searching for 'Yank' - looks like their search engine is broken! I can see it now in the list of available shows, but sill doesn't come up when searching ![](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170725/e622b5fcf62a0c1cb7f14d7926b051f3.jpg)

Was really surprised that I couldn't find any offers for this anywhere, seeing as it looks like only a handful of tickets have been sold for a lot of performances this week. Also surprised that tickets aren't even available at all on a lot of the usual places (TodayTix etc). Messaged the Yank Facebook page and they told me the best offer they have at the moment is on fromtheboxoffice.com, just picked up a great stalls seat (right by the entrance door which will hopefully be a bit cooler!) for £19.50 😀

Got through the queue by about 10:30, I got a lucky dip ticket for both parts of The Inheritance on a weeknight - there weren't any lucky dip tickets left for the Saturday 2 play day that I looked at. First time booking with the Young Vic, an all round pleasant experience!
And thanks Baemax for your reassurance - I decided to get the Fun Home tickets through TodayTix to be sure to get them, but waited for general sale for The Inheritance to avoid paying £6 booking fee on £20 worth of tickets!

Was like a kid on Christmas when I opened my email this morning and read about the presale on TodayTix! Glad I decided against buying the Young Vic membership to get early access - meant I could buy tickets for 2 dates with the money saved 😀

I've never seen anything at the Young Vic before but am desperate to see this. Do shows there tend to sell out quickly? Will be travelling when the public sale goes live and won't be able to book until 24 hours later. Am considering getting the £35 direct debit membership to get access to tickets today

Got 6 decent seats for the last performance before Christmas in the Amex presale today - looks like there's loads of availability across the run still! The Amex presale would not work at all in Safari on my Mac, just continually came up with the message 'something went wrong' whenever I put in the first 4 digits of my card to unlock the presale. It worked fine in Chrome though.

Was initially reluctant to see this due to the ticket prices. Last night I had originally booked a cheap £15 seat right up the back of the balcony on the side. At 7:10pm I asked the box office if they had any day seats left, and they did - so they let me upgrade my terrible seat to a seat right in the middle of the stalls for an extra £10! The view was amazing 😀 I might have just been lucky getting one that late in the day as they've only started doing day seats, but might be worth asking if you can upgrade if anyone has a cheap seat booked like I did.
Loved the show too!

I saw it on Monday and really enjoyed it too. I help to lead an LGBT employee resource group at my work so consider myself fairly knowledgeable on this sort of stuff, but I learnt a LOT. I've recommended it to my colleagues.
There was a lot of empty seats, and I really hope that word of mouth helps this show out a bit. This is really something that people need educating on, and this is a perfect time with London gearing up for Pride.
One thing that did annoy me was when walking in there was someone complaining to her friend that the ladies toilet had been changed to be gender neutral and was saying she 'didn't want to go in there if there might be men in there''. I hope she learnt something by the end of the play too!

For anyone that is frequently checking for returned tickets like I was, I'll share how I just managed to snap one up incase it helps anyone else! I saw someone mention a Firefox addon a few pages ago, but I don't use firefox so used this method. I used the website Changemon which will automatically check a webpage for you in regular intervals to see if anything changes - so you can ask it to check the NT website to see when the button to book tickets gets activated next to any dates. On the Changemon website, when setting up a trigger put www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/shows/mosquitoes-whats-on-listing in the URL box, then the next box select 'when a word or phrase is added' and type 'Book Now' in the box. Then tell it to check every hour and put your email address in - this means it checks every hour to see if the 'Book Now' button is activated on the page and tickets are able to be booked 😀 I just received an email notification saying the page had been updated and picked up a ticket for late August. A couple of times I got notified by email and the ticket had already gone by the time I got to the page - if this happens you need to make sure you reactivate the trigger as it switches itself off every time it sends a notification - I only had to wait a few days before I got a ticket. Good luck! (I don't have any affiliation with the changemon website)
