This was more a play with songs than a musical per se
Was fun overall. Some moving scenes, some funny scenes, some which were out of date

First preview tonight!
Around 1 hour 50 min no interval
Was very funny in places. Some black out scenes a little long and people nodded off.
Was interesting and fun overall with good acting. But not as good as the Flick

Maybe it goes to Broadway first before the west end?

This was ace I thought! Funny, really likeable characters, good songs. Feel good musical of the winter.

His two major plays, Jerusalem and Ferryman, had rave critical notices and me and all my friends who went to see them thought they were excellent... Not sure its accurate to say audiences hate his stuff.
As to this play, the cast not being a big one makes me think it will be possible to get some form of day or lottery ticket for it

I actually think The Human Body will sell out very quickly as I would say Keeley Hawes is on the same calibre as David Tennant. I for one am sold on her name. oh, thats the one most likely to sell out. Im hoping it wont be the crazy scrum Macbeth was though!

Good season there. I'll try for all three. Nothing which will sell out instantly like Macbeth though

I thought this well acted and funny in places, perfectly pleasant evening, but it falls apart in places plot wise. Writing was too blame really.

I feel they would have benefited from a less high profile west end role overall.

With Old Friends due to close January 6th and Opening Night not opening until March 6th... is there something very short going into Gielgud in January? Maybe comedy? James Acaster is going into the Pinter for a week in Jan for example
