I saw it last night (didn't notice any filming) and thought it was as fabulous as everyone has said on here. Blown away by it and by Sutton Foster. Had a bit of a panic to get to the Barbican because the Piccadilly Line was suspended which nearly gave me a heart attack!

Struggled with the rush today. Had a ticket in basket but when I tried to pay was showing "hold expired" message. Nevermind, will try again at the weekend.

I loved the show, but did anybody else think that the costumes looked quite cheap and unfinished? I was quite disappointed in some of the dresses Sutton wore, a few of them clearly cut and pasted from the same patterns, and unlined. Does anybody know why they didn’t opt to go with the Martin Pakledinaz designs from the Broadway production? They are far superior in my opinion!

I thought the costumes were wonderful and that's from the 2nd row of the stalls.

They did reuse some of his designs (slightly modified) but I'm disappointed that they chose to redo the costumes entirely. Martin passed away a year after the show opened on Broadway. His costumes for the US Tour have been used in a variety of regional productions since. www.networkstours.com/rentals/anything-goes/

I thought the costumes were quite lovely, and there were a few audible gasps from some of the audience (especially the white dress).

The recent Australian tour of My Fair Lady used the Cecil Beaton costume designs and he’s been dead 40 years! I don’t think I would have minded the costumes as much if I’d not had the magnificent Broadway ones in mind!

I think these new designs are better anyway so not sure why anyone would complain!
