Strange to show it in cinemas, it's still on Iplayer - I watched it again over Christmas.

I thought the DVD release was scheduled for the end of March?

Is this going to be officially announced soon? (My original question was "is it still going ahead" but I did a bit of googling and found out that it is.) It's listed at various independent cinemas for a few dates in March, none of the big chains though which I find odd. And I only found that by going through the Anything Goes Cinema website, they haven't announced anything on their social media... Was this originally supposed to be part of a big campaign for the DVD release and it's fallen through? Not sure I'll be honest - we got the email through asking if we'd like to screen it again where I work in November, but I didn't think we'd have an audience considering it's on iPlayer so didn't follow up. Yeah that makes sense, thanks for the reply!

It just popped up in a promoted post on Instagram. “Back by popular demand…” It’s still on iplayer though. 🤔

I wouldn't pay to see it in the cinema when it's on iplayer.

Some of us like the big screen showings, even if the sound quality of that recording isn't so good.

Yeah I agree, I really liked seeing the spectacle on the big screen the first time round, having not got to see it with Sutton Foster in person. So I am thinking of going in March, even though I know it's on iplayer.

My kind of cinema - I'm not one for action / shooter / horror films. The gentleness and silliness of Anything Goes suits me to a tee!

Anybody know what the mastering is like on this recording? The audio quality on the broadcast version was pretty poor - am wondering if it has had any work done for the blu ray...
