The Coronet Theatre (formerly the Print Room) is now closed until their autumn season www.thecoronettheatre.com/covid-19-update/"Our planned season would have included How It Is (Part Two), which would have brought performers, crew and a 14-piece Gamelan orchestra from Ireland, Japan 2020 at The Coronet Theatre which would have brought up to 50 people from Japan, and the Italian Theatre Festival which would have brought performers and crew from Italy – but sadly this is not possible in the current circumstances."

Got a couple of automatic refunds over the weekend, also had some venues asking if I'd donate all or part of the ticket cost instead of asking for it back.
Bizarrely I've still not had a cancellation notification for a show in 3 weeks time at the Lyceum.

Well I've heard nothing from Southwark Playhouse about a show on saturday just gone or Bridge theatre about tomorrow. I e mailed them both over a week ago rather that clog up their phone lines but not even an acknowledgement that they have got the e mail. Looks like I am going to have to call.

I called Southwark the other day, answered straight away so I guess given their size not inundated with calls! They'll give you the option to either get a refund or credit or donate. I got a refund then donated via the link on their web page, which means they can get the gift-aid as well assuming you are a UK taxpayer.

I'm still waiting ti hear from the Leicester Haymarket, where I should have seen Curtains this past Saturday. Their website says "We hope to reschedule forthcoming shows. Please hold onto any tickets you have for any forthcoming performances and we’ll be in touch in due course regarding rescheduled events. Please do not contact the Box Office as we are unable to offer any further information at this point." Given even if they do re-schedule, which seems unlikely, I'm not going to be able to go to Leicester, or indeed anywhere else, for some time, the lack of any mention of refunds is rather annoying. I've never been to the theatre before so have no feeling of loyalty that would make me want to make a donation of my ticket cost, as I have done for a few companies that I've been seeing for years, I'd just like my money back.

I've just had an email from the Stephen Joseph Theatre. It's cancelled its entire summer season, which was one old Ayckbourn, one new Ayckbourn and The Ladykillers. As the SJT works in reverse to most theatres, and makes hay while the sun shines, this is going to be a major financial hit.

Has anyone had anything from Encore? I had tickets with them for The Prince of Egypt, for yesterday, and haven't heard anything beyond their initial email saying "As soon as a suspended show is confirmed as cancelled, we will be in touch to book you in for an alternative date or process a refund."

I'm still waiting to hear from the Liverpool Playhouse and the Royal Exchange. Not too bothered about the RE (yet) since I wasn't supposed to go there until 2nd April.
But I'm a little bit annoyed to have heard nothing from the Playhouse for a show last week, as it would have been one of the earliest cancelled performances. I know we're supposed to bear with them while they work through the backlog, but I don't really trust their system as I've had multiple booking problems with them over the years. Looks like I'm going to have to chase it up.

Thanks for the update. I'm booked to see it but have received nothing so far from the theatre. If Back to the Future stays closed into May that's my Manchester trip off. I feel horrible breaking this one to you, but from another thread: Oliver Ormson who was in the show is doing a Youtube series at the moment where where he and his girlfriend record a video of their thoughts at the start and end of each day. In this mornings video he said they had been told the Manchester run was over and they all had been asked to clear out their dressing rooms. He did say tho the show will be on again and it is not the last chance to see it. The Manchester run however appears to have finished. The Royal Exchange Theatre news came in an email about an hour ago. My trip to Manchester to see Cinderella and West Side Story is also off.

I booked over the phone with their box office. So I'll them. Thanks

Has anyone had anything from Encore? I do know all their staff were working remotely, so it is taking time. So long as you had a booking, you will hear from them in due course. I had an e mail from them on the 17th as I had booked via them for Hairspray. It just said they will be in touch when have more info.

Just heard from Delfont Mackintosh about my booking for Leopoldstadt -
which is a pretty good offer, I think.
Although actually - "a credit, which can be redeemed for a future performance of the production you have booked for." - not sure what happens if the show doesn't reopen!
Oh well - gone for the credit anyway, on the grounds they will presumably have to change to a refund if the show doesn't come back.
Edited to add ... I asked them on twitter and they clarified this

Cadogan Hall have emailed to say that Love Story is rescheduled from 17th May to 20th September, that tickets will be moved, & to contact them if you can't make the new date. How are we supposed to know now if we can make the new date in 6 months' time? At the moment how does anyone know if they'll even still be alive in 6 months' time?!

Ask for a refund now and then rebook it nearer the time when things are hopefully back to normal. I did think of that option but I might not be able to get a front stalls seat by that point, whenever that point might be! For the moment, I've tweeted them to ask. Don't want to phone the box office given the email said the box office is currently exremely busy.

So far the best and quickest reaction has been from the National Trust! I had a ticket booked with them at the Barn Theatre at Smallhythe, show was cancelled end of last week, email received letting me know that I would be refunded and the refund is already in my bank account. Slightly strange that the quickest reaction was from a non-theatre company, others have been in touch, some of which I've opted for credit on the account/moved to another date but this the only refund received as yet and still waiting on ATG getting to me. Theatre wise the smoothest has been the Garrick Theatre in Lichfield, simple email and easy process set up.

Not a show as such but with a lot of this years tours being shunted to later this year and early next year the Kings in Edinburgh has announced that its 2 year refit/refurb closure has been put back a year to 2022.
