I know it was only a matter of time but all remaining dates for City of Angels cancelled. Just had an email saying I'll get an automatic refund I wonder if they will try to re-schedule City of Angels? Doesn't sound very promising if they're offering automatic refunds with no mention of an option to swap tickets to a re-scheduled date. Would be a shame if it wasn't. They gave automatic refunds for shows cancelled during the early weeks of the lockdown too, when at that point the later part of the run was still on sale, so not sure we can draw a clear conclusion from that alone. That said, I'm not hopeful

That's everything this side of Christmas gone now except one show, already rescheduled once... am expecting an email re that any time now!

Samantha Barks' September gig also cancelled.
I think it's becoming apparent that there won't be much/any indoor theatrics going on this side of 2021. It's all so sad.

Harry Potter suspension extended to February 21 Gosh. Obviously nothing is a surprise anymore but a big hitter like this being the first to officially cancel until February really illustrates the lack of confidence in the sector ATM. And on it goes..... Sad times!

Southwark Playhouse have cancelled their shoes, I’m keeping mine on credit as I do hope that ‘Indecent Proposal’ gets a run next year, it’s all such a shame

Harry Potter suspension extended to February 21 The German production has just moved its opening night to April 2021, more than one year after the originally planned opening. We all said how daring it was to move it to October 2020 originally, when all other shows only cancelled shows for a few weeks or 2 / 3 months. Same as people said in May/June it was impossible NOT to have Pantos this year. Just shows: we know nothing, especially not when and if shows will return on any given date.

The Lion King West End and tour now closed until 'Spring 2021'... If that means March, that will be a whole year closed in London.

Hmmm, though unsurprising, another big gun cancelling until Spring is suboptimal Once is too cold for the current flurry of outdoor stuff, and of course the numbers rise again, think we are in for a long harsh Winter!

Such a depressing thread. Wishing everyone in the performing arts - whatever your job - all the very best.

52 year anniversary then. The Cure did the last one, maybe headlined by the Vaccines?

No details and no update from Bridge Theatre but I just got refund from TodayTix for John Gabriel Borkman. Hardly unexpected. I see Bridge Theatre has it still listed and some later dates but I do assume it's all off.

Just last week realised browsing my calendar, that I have in fact 1 more ticket for London: John Gabriel Borkman, which I booked ages ago. It is still listed on the website, but I doubt it can go ahead or if it does, socially distanced, which means lots of tickets will have to be cancelled. I wouldn't want to go to London in any case, so just curious what will happen with it.
