Yes it was a good finale though why the copper at the end was left alone with Gill was far fetched to say the least. Clear the building but leave the guilty bent one with just one copper!! Still that aside it was a great series.

Didn't dare wait till morning so just watched on catch up, I knew that cop was a bad un, she couldn't be bothered to say paragraph in full unlike everyone else! Also why did she just get called Tina in a formal interview? Who did give the kill order?

Now we know why our david has been so quiet of late. Jed Mercurio has only gone and flown him over to Northern Ireland to work as dance consultant on LoD. He's got his own caravan, and everything! 🤣

That would be welcomed relief in the more tense moments if they would just bust out some moves.

That would be welcomed relief in the more tense moments if they would just bust out some moves. Instead of the Village People doing the actions to YMCA, we could have AC12 doing OCG. Making the shape of the G could be tricky with only two arms, but our david loves a challenge. Once he gets into the dance studio, I'm sure he'll be able to work his usual magic.

I've already started putting a routine together as you can see TallPaul from this footage -

If that's the eco people, I'm just relieved (a) they're not on a bloody bridge and (b) they kept their clothes on this time.

If you're into this, get yourselves on Bloodlines on BBC1 - 4 x 1-hour episodes in all, first 2 on the iPlayer.
Half way now, having just picked myself up off the floor it's almost the most Jed Murcurio thing ever (he's a producer).

A strong start.
Much to ponder.

Given the topic treding on Twitter I'm glad I wasn't the only one sniggering throughout every time someone said 'CHIS'.
Otherwise a great start, setting up lots of questions (why so many locks on the door?). I did expect something shocking to happen but then perhaps the shock is that it didn't.
Also great to see Tommy Jessop given more screen time.

Carl Banks... wasn't there a Tommy Banks in the first couple of seasons?

Also great to see Tommy Jessop given more screen time. There was a funny bit where Vicky McClure said ‘Chis’ but Kelly McDonald pronounced it ‘Jizz’ and then was followed by a ‘Cheers, Ma’am’. I like how it throws us in at the deep end but considering some of the characters that re-appeared, I’m so glad I had IMDB to hand. That woman Steve met in the coffee shop hadn’t been in it since series 2!

Believe me even police officers don't know what half the acronyms mean.

I was about 20 seconds in before I went 'what?!' and put the subtitles on. Bit like watching Shakespeare, need to train my ear back in.

Carl Banks... wasn't there a Tommy Banks in the first couple of seasons? My mistake. It was Tommy Hunter. We did have Lee Banks in season 5. He was the OCG member in prison. Hunter was Scottish... so is the new DCI....

The thing I still find amusing is Laverty's body is still the longest running plot point.
I wonder why the OCG moved Terry out of Kingsgate - they must have left him there for a long while after leaving the print shop so it seems a strange time to move him. Possibly as the unit we're used to has been mostly inactive until recently and are now back in action.

A much better episode this week. No other drama on telly can compete with a Line of Duty interview scene.
How long will it take Kate to recognise Ryan!

So the real doubts about Davidson and her ‘armed robbery ‘ crap all dismissed now in face of emotional Asian person?

That was an intense and dense episode.
So much to unpack
