Shout out to anyone (like me) who suffers an anxiety disorder and is wondering why their anxiety and stress is getting worse for no apparent reason - it’s the heat, and it’ll be alright!

If you like the heat its great but a lot of us don't like anything over 25C and our perfect heat is about 20 to 22C effectively shirt sleeve weather.
At least its not June/July when we get about 4 more hours daylight so the heat would be even more extreme. But I do agree tempers and anxiety can get worse people are hot and bothered probably more likely to have been having more liquid refreshment often alcohol so you get a perfect storm.
Children in classrooms which aren't falling down probably being made to sit in blazers by some wanabee dictator head. A lot of older people struggle in this weather too. Even people who love the heat on holiday its different if you have to work in it unless you're lucky enough to have booked your time off right.

I'm surprised anyone wouldn't recognise the cause. Personally I am very well aware that the heat is causing me extra amounts of anxiety & stress. If you like the heat its great but a lot of us don't like anything over 25C and our perfect heat is about 20 to 22C effectively shirt sleeve weather. 20C is too hot for me, let alone 30C. My ideal temperature is around 12C.

I very nearly collapsed at work today because of the heat and stresses that come with it. Home now. Think a trip to the pool and the cinema at the hottest parts of tomorrow will just about get me through. I never realised how sensitive I am to it until now.

I may shortly have to remove my very stylish Italian-made sweater, as I sit outside, on Sheffield's trendiest road, enjoying this pint of Irish Red bitter. 🔥🍺
