When's Rachel's last show? I might be able to visit London again at the beginning of next year! 28 January 2017 I hope I can make it. Seeing her first and last shows would be so awesome!

Yeah Rachel's previous last show was one of those evenings I'll always remember (for me more memorable than the 10th anniversary!) Trying to fit one more visit in, having so far been to first night of new cast and 10th and already got Rachel's last booked. For me, nobody does it better

I see from West End Understudies' Twitter that Martin Ball is on for the Wizard tonight in what is presumably his debut (or if he has been on before then no-one's mentioned it). As it says he's due to be on for the rest of the week I'm now debating with myself if I can justify paying over £40 to go & see him on on Saturday....

Just saw tonight's show, I absolutely loved Alice as Elphaba. I'm by no means an expert on the role (only seen the show live three times) but she played it with moments of nervousness and fragility I've never seen before - which only served to make the character's moments of strength even more impressive. A little too much riffing in No Good Deed for my liking but otherwise I loved how she sang the role. Didn't see myself eager for a return visit quite so soon but I've just said I have to go next time she's on, oops. Great chemistry with Suzie, too, watching them was just a joy.

He is on all week if not longer as Mark Curry is recovering from a minor op.

Cast holidays for Suzie, Anita and Oliver are now on the website. None for Rachel which I would assume means she isn't taking any holidays!

Suzie Mathers will not be performing on the following dates: 08 – 10 December 2016 09 – 11 February 2017 29 May – 03 June 2017
Anita Dobson will not be performing on the following dates: 17 – 23 November 2016 05 – 07 December 2016 12 – 14 January 2017 Oliver Savile will not be performing on the following dates: 07 – 09 November 2016 12 – 14 December 2016
So are we assuming Rachel is doing the whole run? And also, is this the first time ever that holiday dates have been put up on the website for a Morrible?!

Relieved to see that they still announce the lead's holidays. Fingers crossed that they'll still announce a few days for Rachel and that I can manage to fly over.

Full cast on this evening apart from Martin Ball as the Wizard & therefore Russell Walker as Dillamond. Oh and I think there was a cover midwife on, for whoever it is on here who likes cover midwives!
Having seen Rachel Tucker for the first time last month & been rather underwhelmed, I thought she was much stronger vocally this evening, especially in DG & NGD. She sang the penultimate note of NGD higher than I have heard it done before.
I thought Martin Ball was very good as the Wizard (apart from one line screw-up) though I did kind of feel in the post-Wonderful appearance of Dillamond that he was persecuting himself, if that makes sense! For the record, he actually first went on for the Wizard on Tuesday 11th so Twitter is slipping, not picking it till Thursday!
Tonight I got to fulfill a nearly 10 year old ambition & got to go backstage at Wicked, thanks to Martin. My 10 years younger Wicked fangirl self would have killed for this! It was great to see the costumes up close & to see the Apollo Vic from the stage.

Alice Fearn will be on for the evening show on the 27th of this month MichaelThanks, but that's unfortunately a midweek show which I can't do that easily, as all my leave for this year is already fully used. Here's hoping they'll eventually announce a weekend.
