Yes but the couldn't choose the stalls, that's the point. How does that change anything when it comes to front row seats being given away through a lottery? The whole point of a lottery is that it's incredibly hard to win.

I have literally entered about 50 TodayTix lotteries and haven't won once. The only one I have won is The Bodyguard but that is because everyone wins!

Agreed, if I was being presented with either a lottery for £60 or mid circle for not much more I'd go with the circle. I've won a lottery once on TodayTix, but if I'm struggling to win Garrick tickets midweek I'm going to really have issues with the Wicked anniversary.

I'm dayseating Funny Girl next Wednesday for myself and a fellow forum member... I feel the last couple of weeks are gonna be hectic so I'm getting there early, not taking any chances haha! I've had success both times so I will be there!

I know someone with a spare (£30) if you really want one?

Suddenly I regret not booking for the anniversary performance! I'm fine with not going really... much easier when you have no choice and i am going on the 28th anyway, so it's all good. I'll go to the 15th instead. Come along Kevin if you get the chance, its sure to be an amazing performance!

I've had success both times so I will be there! Slightly off-topic, but I dayseated Funny Girl on Saturday and anyone who got there after about 7.45 may not have got a ticket (I was there earlier than that so I'm not sure exactly when the cut-off was, but the front row seats would definitely have been gone by about 7.45 or so, and not sure how many single seats they had left elsewhere!) Back on topic, the anniversary will be the first time I've ever been in the circle at the AV (I'm row K I think!), so I'm not bothered if the lottery is the stalls, I'll be getting a different perspective on the show anyway.

I saw the cast change show from the upper upper circle and noticed loads of stuff that I normally miss in the stalls. Definately nice to have a new perspective.
A few lottery seats in the stalls sounds nice but if you're surrounded by folk who aren't bothered I'd rather be with the crazies in the circle.

As much as I love the detail in the stalls and being so close, being up in the circle is great as the stage blocking (especially for big cast numbers) looks so much better!

I really enjoy being in the circle at the AV, I prefer it to the stalls although I've only ever been in the first few rows of the stalls which was great but I think I'd prefer it a bit further back.

I was in the very back row for one of the previews (£5 a ticket I seem to remember!) and have only sat up there once since previews. One row further forward next Tuesday!

I have circle (middle back) for the anniversary performance but for my raffle win tickets in October I've been given row D in the stalls! Looking forward to seeing the difference from each view, especially since I haven't seen Wicked in many years.

I ended up in the circle for a matinee a few cast changes back and it was nice to be away from the craziness and get a different perspective

I hope that Rachel and Suzie are on Saturday matinee. I'm really only going to see Rachel as I've heard such good things about her and I've already seen the show so I'll probably not even go if she's not on and give the ticket away.

Is there a suggestion they wont be then? I don't think so but you never know do you. You can't account for illness/injury and such like.

Apparently they sent a note out saying all recordings made by fans at the 10th will be destroyed. Could this mean they're doing a live recording?

Yes that was included in the letter that accompanied the tickets!
Fingers crossed and it's not just a standard line as normal....

They're probably just aware that there are some 'prolific' recorders about and they're more than likely going to be attending the 10th anniversary show. Probably just an extra clear warning to them.

And what better cast than this one? 2 very talented and experienced leads and 2 original cast members, not to mention a very energetic ensemble.

But some of the prolific recorders are well known in the theatre so I don't see why they're not just banned from entering!!

I'm not gonna lie, if there won't be an official recording I'd like it if fans recorded some audio of the big songs and I'd definitely listen to it.
