I'm almost disappointed if it is them because I love them both and I've managed to avoid Wicked for SO many years (I think my last visit was when Alice Fearn was standby Elphaba), and this will certainly break that! Very happy to see them both back on a West End stage though.
The more I think about it, the more that I think that Zizi would make the perfect Glinda

I would expect it after this amount of time, but glad they're (eventually) getting someone new then as Ryan felt miscast to me sadly Ryan is staying unfortunately. …Well I will be avoiding the Apollo Victoria for a year then |

I’d heard that the whole principal cast was changing - if Ryan stays by the end of the next contract he will have been there for 4 yrs |

This is exciting news, I can imagine though after having an all-black lead trio for the first time ever, replacing with two white actresses, they might be keen for Fiyero to not be white also or it would attract comment. But please just bring Carl Mann over from the tour! He’s brilliant.
Excited to see Zizi especially. I envisage her wringing every last drop of comedy out of the role!!
(Also if they could fix the sound mixing issues and jazz up the DG flying effects then all would be well with the world 😎)

I wonder if they’ll bring more tour cast over to London. Think Maddison Firth would be a great standby. The sound issue is crazy sometimes it is fine and sometimes it’s completely off. I remember thinking how great everything sounded on tour and how great the orchestra sounds. And I may be in the minority but I actually love the flying effect it just looks really powerful with the elongated cape |

Wicked London would benefit from a couple weeks tightening by the powers that be. It’s giving Les Mis or Phantom a few years back when they received some TLC and never looked back.
The sound needs reviewed and the actors need a firmer guide in terms of direction. The last time I went the amount of jokes that didn’t land simply due to delivery was staggering.
Say what you want about Lucie but her Elphaba went on a journey, the last time I saw the current leads it was a case of simply moving from point A to B on stage with little much else.

I absolutely loved Lucie’s characterisation The fact Lucie didn't do another year I don't know why? I hope she does the 4th UK Tour whenever that will be. I mean I haven't seen Zizi or Emma in anything but the casting feels very fancast to me if true, I will believe it when the official announcement comes. |

Lucie’s attendance was not great which is probably why she didn’t do another year. (I don’t think this is her fault though as I believe she suffered from post-covid issues, and we all know it’s a massive sing)

When I learnt that I felt really bad for her, hoping she will come back at some point for a redemption arc. |
