Welcome Katya!! Am I one of the few on here that saw Idina? Feel lucky to have seen her 3 times back in 2006. A tour de force - bootlegs just don't capture the full rollercoaster seeing her live takes you on. It's just not possible to gain a rounded representation of Idina (or anyone for that matter) from listening to recordings. I saw Idina 4 times as i recall. She was superb. I regularly put her in my top 3 when i think back to how she portrayed Elphaba. Such a solid performance and responsible for my love of the show now. I would agree that no amount of recordings can give you a true idea of how good she was. In fact I will rehash my previous top 3 to Idina, willemijn and Jennifer Dinoia. Id previously put Rachel in for her acting but thinking more about it Idina wins that battle hands down |

Ah such a long time ago! She was okay, just played a very, very young Elphaba. Which worked well for act one but obviously not for act two. She struggled with the final notes of DG, but to be fair to her she was ill when her saw her. |

Sometimes, I wish I had started a spread sheet right after my first Wicked listing who I've seen in what part for every show. Have to admit I struggled and had to do some googling. Mainly for the previous previous London cast and Broadway cast. |
